Well I took the plunge and had my very first appointment today and to sum it up, all I can really say is --- WOW!!  My research paid off and everything went great.  Incall was at an upscale hotel which is a little nerve racking to be honest.  I arrived early and was very uncomfortable just hanging around.  I called at the appropriate time with no answer.  Instructions said this might happen and to call back in 5.  Did that and she picked up and asked for 5 minutes.  She called with the room number and I went up.  I kinda felt everybody in the hotel knew what I was there for but again I am sure that was nerves.
Knocked on door and the rest will be in my review.

Overall had a great time and I am looking forward to finding another provider soon.

It is great to hear that diligence pays off.

Welcome to the obsession.

Next time, if you are early, park a block away from the incall, wait in your car, then drive and park your car, call from the car, so you can go right up to the room. Don't forget to write a review.

Believe me, it is obvious.

Instead just keep circling or better yet, get out and take a walk.  That is a great way to combat stress as the exercise is calming to the mind.

Hanging out in lobbies and parking lots is just so obvious and adds to tension that you don't need.

If you must hang out in the lobby, at least bring a newpaper or magazine to read.  It looks a little better.  Or you could read email on your Blackberry if you have one.

more and more education every day.
You also give me ideas to expand on.
If this has been said many times before, I apologise.
I think a good idea is to ask the provider how to get to her room if you are not sure.
I if I were a provider I would'nt want a couple or more people a day going to the desk and asking where room *420* is.

I would never have the nerve go to the front desk for directions! lol!  I usually make a beeline right for the elevator and figure it out from there on my own.

the rooms are numbered so there should really be no need.

In unfamiar teritory, driving time is unknown.  I arrive early & locate the place, then back track to a nearby coffee shop.  I return to the hotel a couple of minutes before the designated second call.
If I don't know the hotel, I ask for directions to the stairs or elevator...  the lady is usually prepared to say "through the lobby & to the left".  Take the elevator to her floor & find the room.
NEVER hang out in the lobby.
NEVER hang out sitting in a car in the lot.  (Cop passing by, "Hey You!  Waiting for a drug buy?")
Never call where you can be over heard.  I like the car but I understand in urban areas one might need to be in the bar, a nearby store or sidewalk shopping.

If you do get there early and someone asks, you can say you are waiting for an interview, particualrly if you are wearing plausible interviewing clothes.  But, regardless, don't just pace around.  Sit down, pick up the 4 week old copy of Newsweek, and read it while you wait.  Most likely, no one is going to pay you too much attention, unless you are hanging out there for >15-20 minutes.

But, for the most part, most people really dont' think about or care what other people are doing, unless it somehow ends up affecting them.
