Brand new and have never hobbied before. I was lurking for awhile and I saw this beautiful girl's website and contacted her. She required a reference but I never have seen anyone.

My question is, how does one aquire a reference? I would love to have one!

You can also give her your real name. There is so much info on the internet, she should be able to verify who you are.  Scary, but a fact of life.

We've all been in that situation. We've all overcome it, so to speak...

My first bit of advice is to settle in and start reading this very board. If you go back a month or two, you'll see that a good many common topics are discussed with great regularity. Getting that first reference is certainly among them.

By reading the newbie guides and this board for a bit before jumping in and contacting that first lady, you can save yourself from many newbie mistakes. In my personal view, there are a great many risks that can do you in, but many of them can be largely mitigated through careful practices and common sense.

Do your homework up front, then go have fun! And let us know how it goes when you do succeed.

Hi and welcome..As a newbie myself, I know it can be frustrating, but have patience. I would suggest you particpate with posting on the boards especially your local board here. Also, maybe go into the chat room here in the evenings. Also, you may want to join a date verification site like preferred411 or date-check. Personally, I don't always require a provider reference, but will accept personal information that allows me to screen through other methods....Good luck!

Not sure I can help, I had tremendous luck and a sweetheart of a provider for my first.  You might be able to use Date-check, look into that.  Also, you may have to work up to your “supposed” favorite – looks are not everything, not even menu is.  I think a lot of guys in here would say that their ATF may not be the hottest or wildest, but just something about them.  So look for ones that have options other than references (you will have to put something out on the limb, like job info, real name, stuff like that).  You may find one whose pics might not jump out as much as an Eros provider, but well reviewed TERs don’t seem to let a newbie down.  A good TER gal will go out of her way to make you comfortable.  So broaden your search at first.  Just find a proven so you feel more safe.
