Do providers prefer to be called or emailed.  I have a hard time calling but find emailing easier.  I realize eventually a phone call has to be made, but I get to nervous and wind up sounding like a goof.

taste vary so read her site and see if she mentions the best way to contact her, then follow directions.

I've found that initial contact is usually by email, but confirmation/directions are best done by phone.

I prefer early contact by e-mail where we both need not be available at the same time but book by phone.

I mean on her ad or website. That won't guarantee anything, but it may make her feel more comfortable knowing you can follow directions. If she has both phone number and email, and does not indicate a preference, then your preference. Though I prefer to make the initial contact by email, I find I get better (quicker, and more responses) by phone.

Why would any hobbyist prefer emailing a provider that they don't already have a working relationship with, instead of calling them from their cell?  Aren't you concerned they may be LE and you're providing them with a written transcript of your correspondance?  Even if you don't write anything explicit, this just seems way riskier to me than calling on the phone.  Especially because you can get a prepaid hobby phone with a bogus name, but if I'm not mistaken, even a hobby email addy can be traced back to your IP address.

Please explain.  Thanks.

I would follow instructions on the website.
Personally, I like when someone calls, OR if they leave a detailed message. The best is when I get an email and a call, BUT THAT'S JUST ME.
I know a lot of ladies that only like calls or only emails.  ?? Maybe you aren't the only shy one on the phone.

In my personal experience, it's a bad idea to meet a girl you haven't talked to by phone even once. A phone call is part of my own "verification" process, as one can get a reasonable preview of the chemistry and how the session might flow based on the girl's voice and flow of the conversation. Sure, some girls (and some guys) are not as comfortable on the phone as in person, but vie never had a good phone call result in a bad date, nor a bad phone call into a good date. Im also looking for a little laugh at my jokes or a feeling they have a sense of humor, how bubbly - not too much but a little is good..  If the call is rushed cold and too business-like, it's not gonna be a good gfe.

email is always my preferred method of contact for initial requests. I can't always talk on the phone when I'm standing next to my sister, or at the grocery store, or.....

I prefer email until screening is complete and a meeting is scheduled.

Then a confirmation call for the location info the day of.

Too many time wasters on the phone.
Sad but true!

Thanks
