No, dinner date means you eat dinner, on the clock, as part of the appointment.

I don't pay for dinner dates. Ever.  I do have dinner off the clock with a couple of my favs as part of our time together.  Of course, this has nothing to do with the OP's question. I only mentioned the "on the clock" part because I didn't want him to assume that he would be getting a lady's time without being expected to compensate her for it.

Sometimes the lady offers discounted per hour rate for a dinner date. The dinner part is less work than the behind closed doors part. If you are looking for GFE, it is a nice time to get to know the lady.

When I said I don't pay I meant for the lady's time when we are at dinner. I always pay for dinner AND dessert! What sort of gentleman wouldn't?

"Dinner date" means actually having dinner together. But feel free to spend the remainder of your time together doing other enjoyable, tasty things! :D

if the dinner is off the clock without compensation.  I post the info in a provider's review and she was constantly asked by guys to go to dinner without compensation.  Learned a valuable lesson, keep any free benefits (like extra free time, etc.) to oneself and not post in the review.
