yes, it does.

It is an extension of you...are you professional or not?

Heres a intresting and need to know question.

Gentelmen,

Does the providers website make a difference to you.
Do the graphics , words, pictures, etc change your preception of the provider.

Why do I ask..

Being new to the hobby, I started with the basic free escort website, Then moved to making a more professional website.
I look at women's pages/websites to get a better feel of the world- and to get ideas for my own page etc. I often see women who have very bad websites.. Really bad pics, And who are still using a free cheap website but ask 500 for a session/hr.

As a man, Do you think it matters ? Doesn't there website represent who they are ?

For me the website is required. Here's why:

Number one, it gives the information I need about donation, time, services, and donation protocol. If it's on the web site it never needs to be discussed. If it's LE they'll want to discuss it. I've never discussed any of this with any provider because I only see providers that have it all spelled out on their site. I always leave a larger donation than is requested and the provider never even checks it. I couldn't do this is the information isn't provided.

Number two, it shows me she's a professional. She's not just trying it out or is doing it because she's in a desperate financial situation. I want to see providers who have thought this profession through and WANT to be doing it. This is because I care about and respect women in general. Providers are not "whores" or "sluts". They are women who have chosen to provide a service that we guys love. Providers should always be treated with respect.

Number three, a lousy web site gives a lousy impression no matter what business you're in. It doesn't have to be glossy or sophisticated, in fact it can be very simple. But it must provide good information, including pictures (I understand if you want to blur your face).

Now this will sound ultra-geeky but if there are spelling or grammatical errors it makes me think twice about seeing the provider. I want to see providers who are intelligent. If you are intelligent you're less likely to do something stupid that gets me busted or an STD.

That being said, an adequate website is all that is required. Having an incredible web site is not going to make any more difference to me than just having a good one.

You hit it right on in your last sentence. "Doesn't there website represent who they are ?". To me it does. But you should spell "there" as "their" in this context. (:

I love women, thank you for existing.

Don't skimp on the photos.

They are the number one ticket to get a call.

Hire a professional photog.  Make sure they blow up to near full screen.  Show us what your body looks like.  Nude photos are best, but they don't have to be.  We don't want a blow up of your big toe, or your knees.  We want to see your midsection to determine if you are big, small or inbetween, and get a sense of your bust size.

A great smile is good, but we understand the need for privacy sometimes.

One great photo is better than a 100 crummy ones.

Having a good website certainly improves my impression of a provider. A well-designed one seems like an upscale touch IMHO. Not to mention it provides more useful info than just a simple CV or BP ad does. On the other hand, I know from experience that a simple site or not having a website at all for that matter isn't necessarily an indication of a poor-quality provider.

The provider websites I do hate though are the ones that insist on registration or even a membership fee to see any of their photos. Photos are important to me as I'm sure they are to most potential clients since appearance counts for a lot in the hobby so I don't like jumping through hoops simply to get a better idea of whether to give a lady my business or not. I think a client deserves to see at least some decent photos given the fees we often have to pay.

midboss I am with you there. If I decide to see a provider, even if she is upscale, I need to be able to see photos and information about that person. Nothing kills it more than going to her website only to find out you need to become a member to see any additional information. These types of providers throw around the upscale or high class words a lot but reality is they are just trying to take more icing from the cake. I never bother with these ladies.

My ATF has a free website with her provider information with up to date photos and then a separate pay site for photo sets etc. That is a much better business model if you are looking at possibly making a steady stream of revenue outside your provider work.

The ad sites are ok but have a stigma to them that what you see isn't exactly what you will get. I am 100 times more likely to see a lady with her own web presence as opposed to one that just has some ads on backpage.com, cityvibe or eros.

I love a well thought out web site and a provider that shows her personality with her posts.  I need spell check to avoid looking like an imbecile despite an advanced degree.  Free sites are fine. The best lovers are not always the best literary geniuses.

Well ya know, people who try to look smart usually have doubts about it. (: Guilty as charged.

I left myself wide open with this one "I couldn't do this is the information isn't provided".

I used spell check several times while writing my post. My point was that if a provider is putting together a website, she can use spell check two. Of course spell check won't catch everything. (:

Agreed, I work with a literary genius and while I wouldn't mind sleeping with her I wouldn't pay for it. But it's fun because she's always correcting my grammar. I don't think I would have passed up a chance to put my Longfellow in Emily Dickinson though, for wadsdatsworth.

Well, I don't see ladies that charge 500 / hr.  I think a template site can be well done.
No music.  A Fav lady put up her site...  If someone had over heard I'd have been caught.

Clear pictures from different angles so I have some confidence there were not internet stolen.  Face blurred is ok.  Picts need not be explicit.

Yes, I like to get aquainted prior to meeting & a good text can fill most of that need.
skb

Absolutely!!  A simple site is fine.  Templates are OK.  What I want is accurate pics, a list of services, rates, and how she wants to be paid.  I assume the lady is updating her site regularly, so her rates and specials should be current.  I suspect what's shown on TER may be outdated.  And be sure to reference your site in any ads you post.

The slickest website is just a paid advertisement if there is nothing to back the promulgated promises.

I'm not looking to find a mate, fall in love, nor have children. So a provider needn't avail her goals, aspirations, GPA, thoughts on spirituality or TRW report. If she does provide it in her website I figure it's more for "her" benefit than mine.

of whether the lady is reasonably intelligent and whether we might have some interests in common.

Ever try to have a discussion with a high school dropout?  If a lady's web site has grammatical and spelling errors, not good.  If her favorite restaurant is McD's and her beverage of choice is Red/White/Blue beer, I'll pass.  Yes, these are extremes, but you should be able to get the point.

I started, in this business, two years ago. Initially, I was trying to get my feet wet, develop a good reputation and obtain great reviews to back me. For the first year, I had a template website and candid photos. The website wasn't great, but it got the job done and I progressively grew in more demand.

After a year, I desired to portray myself in a different manner. My goal was to avoid blending in, but rather display myself as a classy, upscale companion with intelligence, a sense of humor and a keen eye for creative marketing. Therefore, I launched a new upscale website, had professional photos, got out the writing pad and integrated a marketing plan.

As a companion, I feel that it's not only crucial that you have a website with the basic information and current photos, it's equally as important to present yourself as a professional and unique individual. I encourage every provider to sit down and think about who they are, what makes them different/unique and how they want to reflect that to the audience. I can guarantee with a good marketing plan, advanced investment and a creative mind, you WILL succeed. When thinking of a marketing plan, you must find something that is comfortable and comes naturally. ie: I portray myself as a classy and upscale companion AND I'm able to pull that off because that is completely natural for me.

The effects of my new website and professional photos:

*My revenue increased dramatically
*I started catering to a different business clientèle.
*My one hour dates almost ceased, instead gentlemen started desiring my companionship over dinner etc.

The key is...you must invest money to make money! And don't forget, your reviews are gold!!!

Wow - very professional website with easy accessibility to all crucial, important information necessary.  Well done.

I agree, Paris i have seen your web before - beautiful !

co-author this classic and call it "Beginning a Business 101."  The book can be written without a mention of the actual business involved.  LOL

The wheels in my head have been turning at a rapid speed, lately. There are a couple of aspects, of this business, that I could expand on with others to help their business. However, I'm not sure if I'm willing to give away "The Secrets to Success" at this time. ;-)

I like a website that says something about the provider as a person, Her hobbies. That she can write in good English. One that avoids cliches.
That isn't cluttered with useless graphics.

As far as pictures, I like ones that give general sense of her appearance, since I like a certain body type. They don't have to be explicit.

I happen to like picture of ladies wearing something.

I find that website are good for detailed info, but reviews are a must. Without them it's a nonstarter.

tc

I expect a professional site if the girl is high price but if she is not it does not really matter.

Yep.

It seems to me that just about anyone can get an elegant site up with $500 or so, but there are a lot of pooptastic examples out there. No one wants to feel like they are seeing a down-on-her-luck provider with a busted, unflattering website. The gallery in particular should be good, with large images and a clean design.

I've noticed that many providers seem to use the same design, and I'm assuming there's a company that caters to them using templates. You don't stand out if you ha the same design as everyone else.

Ask designers about Joomla and Wordpress, as both are free, versatile ways of creating a very useful website that can be easily edited by the provider.

Also, I would love to see some video clips along with the photos.

yes, it does.
