I contacted a provider. I did not have any refrences I gave her my work number to verify my job.She said once she verified my job  she will call me and we can  set something up. It has been week and I have not heard from her What should I do?

forget her and call somebody else..

contact her again and ask what's up.  Perhaps she lost the number or something like that, or maybe she has some issues to deal with in her life.  In any case, if still not response after 24 hours, move on.

how soon you want to see her.  If your appointment wish is less than a week away, I'd move on.

contact her again- i say this because sometimes we can get so busy- we forget- its quite possible she was in the middle of something when you called- or when she went to check your credentials- something else came up-and she simply forgot- doesnt mean she isnt interested at all- just a simple human error- sometimes calling a couple times also lets the provider screen a little more-
