Just wondered if when you want to set up a date with a provider, What do you look for in making contact with her?
IF an e-mail is present? Or would you prefer a phone number.
I've seen mixed ways to contact from Forms to submit on the site, to email addys and then again, I have seen phone numbers.
Any input would be helpful.

the provider checks her email and responds within a day or so.

Some providers don't seem to check their email but once a week, while others seem to be sitting in front of the computer 24/7.

The problem with making and getting phone calls is that you never know who is going to be around and can hear you; while email is a lot more secure and discreet.

lol..I am in front of my computer all day with my other job. Thanks what I thought, e-mail may be better. I check my messages thru-out the day, and get back as soon as I can. Not always easy though. Thanks sweety!!

The problem with email is that an exact record of it exists forever and can be subpoenaed at any time. Think about that during your next divorce.

If it is a company computer they "OWN" ever word that you write and receive. There is nothing that you can do about it if it goes through their server --- it is already recorded for posterity.

So...a pre-paid phone would be better then?

Phone call is better but either is ok with me.

Even after all this time, I like to build the suspense of not knowing the sound of her voice until the last possible minute.  Plus, in my environment, it's more private than voice communications.

As an aside, I had lunch with a provider friend the other day, and she was frenzied by the frequency of calls she'd been getting to the point of considering removing her number from her website.

I'm a spur of the moment kind of guy.  So when I felt the urge, I was more likely to start placing calls to see who is available.

Now after experiencing a lot of average, some sub-average, and some fantastic, I am more likely to plan ahead and email.

The more contact avenues you make available, the more contacts you can receive.  But always make sure that you do enough screening to be comfortable.

I just get nervous with all the last minute inquiries. Could go good...or I sit twidling my thumbs and watch HBO all night long. LOL

I usually prefer initial contact to be by email.  If my email is not answered in a day or two, I will call and leave a message one time.  If I still do not get a reply, I move on.  If a lady does not have email, I will call to set an appointment.  But, that is not my first choice.

Actually, I find text messaging via a pre-paid anonymous cell to be best ..not tracable, yet also has advantages of email in that you can exchange communications and not both have to be free at the same time; I also like using the private message services of internet sites such as this

... as I do not prefer giving out personal info, even my cut out phone, until I have some inital contact first. But I admit to being much more of a planner who contacts providers days and even weeks ahead...

A few weeks ahead (if possible) via e-mail from my home computer.  A follow-up phone call is sometimes requested as part of the screening process.  If I don't hear from the lady within 48 hours and I have a phone number, I may call if I think there is enough time to work out the details.  Some ladies do prefer phone contact.  You have to read their web site.

I prefer email for an initial contact.  That allows the provider to reply when she has time.  Also, I tend to get nervous on the phone the first time with a  provider so I'd like to start with emails and then talk on the phone a bit.

I prefer the email my self, email works good. I do all the verifications via email then the contact of the phone. If your worried about things then the pay as you go phone is the way to go. Just putting my two cents worth in.

In general I prefer the first contact to be by email.

However if you are trying to make a date for the same day or the next day I would strongly recommend following up with a phone call as I do not sit 24/7 in front of my computer in case I get an email!  LOL

I sometimes get a email asking for a same day date, which I was available for, but checked my email too late

If you call for same day or next day dates saying you sent an email, generally the lady will respect your effort.  Of course last minute dates are always subject to availability and are thus a roll of the dice!  If you can make plans in advance, so much the better.

We have heard a lot about the special chemistry that happens from time to time between the provider and her hobbiest.  

It has been my experience that I can get a much better read about the "potential" of such a connection through phone contact than through email contact.  JMHO

But in the beginning, I feel initial contact should be by e-mail. Once verification can be made, then phone. Future contact deffinately through phone. Though...when I'm in an appointment, I try and set my phone to vibrate or turned off. I return calls as soon as I am able.

I've been in Systems Security for some time now, and it is only true that the company owns your email if you use the company's servers to store it on.

If you connect to an outside webmail service via SSL (the URL will start with https) then there is no practical way that a company can capture your email and store it, and they hold no legal claim to it either. Make sure that you never allow your web browser to store your password, by the way.

There are even more secure ways to do this, ways that could even defeat a determined effort, but that should do it for any ordinary company.

Guess yer gonna have to SHOW me once i get my laptop. ~winks~
