This is a frequently asked Q on Newbie, General and even some local boards.  I'll link one example.

Use the Search button to search for "photographer" or similar and go back 60 or 120 days and see what comes up.  

Do the same on your local board to see if there are any local photogs that are trustworthy or recommended.  

Some of the threads make mention of Model Mayhem, a "mall" to connect models, photogs, cosmeticians and other modeling types

(eom) or (e) or similar means "end of message" or "end" which means there is nothing in the body of the message so don't even bother clicking on it.   That only replies to the ORIGINAL post with (eom) in the subject line.  People replying without deleting the (eom) will have stuff in their reply so you do have to click to open and read the reply

I took this from a page from a highly regarded web designer Veda Designs.  Many providers will see a photogrpaher when they're touring.  There used to be a couple of photographers were I'm from and we always had touring ladies coming thru to escort and also do a photo shoot with one of the photogs.

Read the threads and see what the ladies have to say about their photogs and reasons for choosing them.  

Some photogs also "tour", which is to say, travel to the bigger markets (NYC) with their equipment, rent studio space and set up appointments in advance.  Someone on the NYC board mentioned that her favorite photog (a woman from Florida) was coming to NY.  

Also read the WARNINGS or alerts about things that concern some ladies but not others: timely delivery, with or without photoshopping, with or without photogs watermark, make sure that YOUR photos are watermarked in some way to prevent theft, privacy (who owns the copyright, you or the photog?; can the photog put YOUR picture on THEIR OWN website as an example of their work; model release forms?), and so on.    

If you see some ad pics or ad layouts that you like, PM or email the ladies and ask them who did their pics and if they recommend them.  

Sounds complicated, huh?
