Guys: As far as BJs go is it worth it/would you to risk disease and recieve an amazing deepthroat without condoms?

Girls:  How many of you would give a bj without condoms to your clients?

There are *possible* risks but no chart can tell you the *probability* of those risks.

I've enjoyed BBBJs for years and not picked up an STD but it *can* and *does* happen.  Just not very often apparently....

The old rule which came out of the gay community is a valid one for the ladies  - swallow or spit, don't let it sit. The point of infection if it will happen is usually the gum tissues of the mouth. Many ladies of course will do BBBJ but do not allow any CIM (cum in mouth) becase they feel that this is safer.

For the gents - one precaution is that if you are "manscaping" (shaving / grooming) - which is a good idea by the way - do  NOT shave or trim within 24hrs of a date. Small nicks and micro abrasions can become vectors of infection.

Also do not have dental work within 48hrs of ad ate if you like DATY (licking pussy) so that you do not have small nicks or cuts that can be transmission sites as well.

Bottom line though: if you are going to play this game, GET TESTED REGULARLY

there is a link to an anonymous STD testing facility in the link below as well.

If you do some research either on here, or The Erotic Highway Board, you will find links to sites like the CDC which have stats on such things.

I would say that around 90% of providers perform BBBJ and I am yet to hear of a case of STD being transmitted on these boards, so that is a good sign.

Of course, the correct thing for you to do is practice the kind of sex that makes you comfortable.

Syphilis is presented as a "ouchless" soar, most commonly on the genitals or the mouth. Because the syphilis soar doesn't hurt, someone who has it, may not realize it, or may not be paying attention.

The real danger, is...someone with a syphilis soar is at high risk for contracting aids when the person is exposed to the bodily fluids of someone else w/ the viris via the open syphilis soar.

I do know lots of girls that have gotten and given this infection, although not myself personally, thankfully.

Most escorts & call girls are very careful, and consider their health as a matter of livelihood, because an infection would cause downtime and loss of income.

But for the same reasons, most girls would never in a million years tell anyone else in the business if something like this had come up because they wouldn't want it to effect their business.

Also, girls with complications like drug addiction or low self esteem or maybe that just aren't bright may also be more likely to contract and pass on infections for obvious reasons.

only one brought it to a discussion board to explain why she was changing to CJB.  The other two were mum on the issue in public, understandably.  Hopefully they at least contacted their recent clients.

The risk is weighed heavily against the provider and not the client, hence the common desire for BBBJ.  If the odds were reversed I think it would be a much different world.

The reason I asked is because I am a healthcare provider and we have seen cases where HSV-1(genital herpes) is found on/infiltrated a person's oral cavity and cases of HSV-2(usually found on the mouth, i.e. cold sores) in the genital region.  The cases are few but it does happen, just seeing if anyones knows the actual percentage.

If you are healthcare provider you would know that HSV-1 is oral herpes not genital herpes and HSV-2 is genital herpes. I suspect that since oral ulcers cause by either HSV2 or HSV1 are identical in appearance  some oral HSV-2 infection without lab testing are misreported as HSV-1 infections.  Since the health consequence of oral HSV-2 and HSV-1 infection are the same I doubt it really matters, especially since 60-70% of population is infected with HSV-1.

With respect to other STD's like pharyngeal gonorrhea are much more easily acquired through BBBJ, than through DATY. These infections are usually asymptomatic and rarely tested for.  How many Providers get a throat culture done as part of their routine STD screening? Fortunately oral infection compared to genital infections are difficult to spread to others and usually cannot be transmitted by kissing. However some cases of  oral gonorrhea can be very painful, and in some cases can cause severe infections or tonsillitis and may be serious situation for those with a weaken immune system.

The major risk of BBBJ to hobbyist is Non-gonococcal urethritis an infection of the urethra caused by oral pathogens other than gonorrhea.

Finally evidence is increasing that some oral cancers are caused by HPV infections resulting from oral sex (BBBJ and DATY).
