Whats going on??  I signed up around a month ago and was able to get useful info on the "providers" except for the juicy details, and now everything is blocked out with VIP.  Sounds like the classic bait & switch. Does anybody know what's going on?  I thought this was supposed to be a reputable site????

Click on the "Contact Us" in the upper left corner and send a question to TER. Usually takes about 24-48 hours to get a response.

Now you will have to pony up the $20/month to see even the numerical scores for any gals.

There has been a lot of discussion pro and con about this.

My feeling is that it will drive away more potential paying customer eventually than will start paying now; but time will tell.

In the meantime, feel free to write to TER and let them know your thoughts.

than just looking at the numbers.  You need to read the reviews to see what the provider is really like.

Sorry, but if you'd like to invest tens of thousands of dollars in software, hardware and legal fees, feel free to accumulate over half a million reviews and compete for the business.

I'm sorry to go off, but I'm getting pretty fucking tired of people whining that they can't get something for nothing.  Why not be grateful that you USED to get something for nothing?  If you want free cheese, head to Washington.  TER's free cheese promo ended a couple weeks ago.

You got to pitch in and help pay the bills. Honestly, anyone who can't afford, or is too cheap to kick in a lousy twenty bucks a month should be looking for a cheaper hobby.

"Bait and Switch" would imply that you paid for something and got something else.  

You paid for nothing.

Frankly, the numbers didn't tell the story anyway...  I think the site is more secure this way & I'm glad for it.

If you're not willing to pay $20per month to hedge every 200+ dollar wager in this hobby you're either too penurious to play, or simply foolish.

what is included for providers with the membership ?

Providers start with free membership.  They could choose Paid VIP to check out their competion say as far as services & rates.  Once a provider has a review (sets their profile up) she messages Contact us to have her membership linked to her profile...  she gets Free "Limited VIP" which lets her use the PM system & see her own reviews (complete) but not other providers.

The free "limited" VIP for providers gives them access to their complete profile & reviews. Full VIP will allow access to individual hobbyists review histories and much more.
