Just have to move on and try not to take it personally. Yes, it's rude and unprofessional for sure. I think sometimes providers don't realize how many of us have to juggle our own demanding schedules to set up a meeting, (especially the married folk) and when it falls trough on their end, it's a real pain. Add the fact that a client is most likely ramped up from the anticipation of meeting and often can't easily book a replacement on short notice.
Yep, it sucks, and you can't stress trying to figure out why. If she had any business sense she would have let you know in advance or at least contacted you after with an apology. ad who knwos, maybe she had an emergency. Just move on to the next girl and forget about it.

Hey all, so I've finally enjoyed this hobby a few times. Thanks in large part to the great reviewers and others that are friendly enough to offer advice and encouragement. So far the experiences have been pretty good, some even great.
However, yesterday I set up an appointment for a well-reviewed provider in my area and I was really excited about seeing her in particular. Well, everything went fine on the phone, it was short, sweet and informative. She told me to call one hour ahead today, which I did......but she never answered. So I patiently waited and then proceeded to call her 2-3 more times over the course of the next couple of hours. Her voicemail was full so I couldn't leave a message, but I'm sure she got my call, because the same thing happened when I called her initially and she called right back. Anyhow, I got her email address and sent a very polite message basically saying; that we had an appointment, I hoped everything was ok, wanted to see what happened and if she is available in the next few days, etc. Please know that I was very polite on the phone, we had a good basic conversation, similar to my other experiences.....yet I still didn't hear back from her.
So my question is, does this just happen sometimes (I know guys can be flaky and not show up, but is it the same with providers?), should I try contacting her again or should I just leave it alone? Is there something I am missing? Either way it's very frustrating as I don't get to explore this hobby very often and when I do, for things to fall through without even an explanation or a call saying that she had to cancel........it's just damn rude and annoying. Thanks all.
