I finally got my photos done this week and am ready to start meeting new friends. Just wondering is it a good idea to show my face? Should I have a members only site or have an area for members only?  

Also, should I ad a phone number to my ads?

Just want to start off the correct way.

But if you don't want friends, family or future employers to know what you are doing it's probably better to not show your face.
You will get a lot less traffic on your site if it's members only, but the ones who go to the trouble of becoming a member might be more serious about meeting you.
Phone numbers in an ad invite last minute requests, late night calls and time wasters who only want to talk to a pretty girl. If you don't want those things you might want to use email only for first contact with you.

ost of us (hobbyists/providers) keep our hobbying experiences completely separate from our "civilian" lives. Never the two shall meet. It is paramount in our little world.

To that end, it is not necessary (nor would I ever recommend) showing your face on your website or any ad page. In fact many ladies will airbrush tattoos from their photos for fear of some one recognizing them. Hobbyists understand discretion/privacy (it's really what the hobby is predicated on) and would not expect to see a face shot before a meeting. Most men want to get a clear visualization of your body type. A few photos (dressed or in various stages on undress) usually are fine. They will also read reviews to see what other hobbyists who meet you in person feel about your body.  

 If you don't care if a co-worker, a friend, a family member, your doctor. your neighbor, your father's golfing buddy, stumbled upon your site and recognized you (because you never know who is a hobbyist), then go ahead and show your face. Chances are you value discretion and want to keep your "provider life" separate. To that end, I do not recommend showing your face. Any client who insists on seeing your face before making an appointment is not a client you want to have.  

In terms of your phone number, again, I wouldn't put it on your site. Once its out there, you never know how its going to be abused. Only after you screen a client and have the appointment set and confirmed would I consider giving out your number. Again, many ladies will never give out a number; choosing to rely on E-mail to finalize all the details.

It just isn't worth it. Pics on the internet last forever. Your life may be much different in 5 or 10 years but those pics will still be out there and someone could potentially destroy your life.

No need for me to see a face shot. Too many other methods for me to determine whether I would want to see you or not

I agree with Jack.  You should not have photos with your face in your adds or allow them to be taken by your clients.  At some point your life may take a different direction and you wouldn't want them to come back to haunt you.

but the internet is forever, once your pics are out there you can never completely remove them.

The selfish pig in me want to tell you to put your pics out there for all(well actually for me) to see, but the realist in me knows that would be a very selfish answer on my part. Even if you don't care today, someday in the future you may care very much about all those pictures of you floating around the internet.

Don't just blur your face on photos that can already be found ANYWHERE on line. A simply image search will find your unblured photo that may be linked to your real name.

You should expect to get plenty of junk emails, but it's up to you to decide which contact method is easier to sort through. But "junk," I'm referring to uninformative and disrespectful messages such as: "r u avail?", "let's meet sometime?", "I'm horny, need to fuck", etc. You'll probably get a bunch of dick pics texted to you as well.  

As stated above, most established ladies use email to set up an appointment and provide a phone number on the day-of/day before the appointment.

I knew or had guessed some of the reasons for obscured faces in advertisements, but had not thought of all you list in your post. Thank you for broadening my understanding.  
Now I wonder about those escorts who do not hide their faces in ads. But, I guess it is as simple as - we all have to make decisions about what risks we are willing to accept.

I never understood why providers would put a phone number in their ads.  Why would you want calls and all hours, rude calls, etc.?

My God you are one angry person. I took what he said as just a "hey look at what everyone said." You need to get a grip.  

..I still think it's worth noting that many, many providers do indeed show their faces and seem to have no problem with it.  You might want to check some of their websites and then PM them to find out how that works for them.  As for me, I rarely date a girl if I can't see her face beforehand, that's how much it means to me.

Someone on this same page I believe recently recommended doing a VIP section showing your face, and even that is not safe. Just because you've met them doesn't mean they won't eventually become someone you wish you hadn't, in some cases. And while it sucks for the guys that aren't crazy, ladies should be cautious even if they think they know the him.  

So, I will reiterate too... No face pics, no names on the magazines in you incall, no parking right out front of the hotel so they can see who you are after two visits... Treat them all like they are potentially troublesome and you will have much more fun than if you try to trust them.
