Then, someone pointed out that the member fee has gone up but it's harder to process.
I am familiar with other sites that have been sold to new owners because they think they see a quick profit but they don't want to do any work. They just want to bleed it to death and let it die.
It's also the old Microsoft method: buy up new apps, utilities or OS improvements and then kill them through incompetent management.
Does anyone know if TER has changed ownership lately?
1) There is no rigid rule for how long a review takes to be approved. It can take a few days or more than a week. Depends on how swamped those in charge of vetting them are. 2) Getting unmoderated depends on the mods. Once you've been posting on the boards for a while they'll decide. Or you can PM them directly and ask nicely. They just need to know you understand the rules.
