Really a question for providers. Have had three visits, and for two of the three I scheduled far ahead - two about 10 days and my third visit was scheduled on the fly, about an hour later (I was out of town and free). Must admit, I found the whole searching for providers who would answer the phone and getting screened on the fly to be a little stressful and I did end up paying extra for an outcall and driver (which seemed fair under the circumstances, and it was worth it, no regrets at all, it was great).

I have another visit that I scheduled three weeks out coming up, and one I scheduled about a 10 days out that I just had to cancel.

So, how far ahead should I schedule? Is there something like an ideal lead time? I suppose this varies by individual, but I am beginning to think it is from 2 to 7 days. Beyond that there is a good risk something will come up, and unless it is a repeat less than two days really does not permit proper screening, communication, etc. Would appreciate some feedback on this.

The other question - how many visits do I need before I stop being a newbie?

BTW, I love P411. Class operation and it makes things easy both here and out of town. Also like that they do some provider screening.

thanks,
Zig

You can schedule too far in advance.  It's been a long time, but whenever someone schedules more than a week in advance I assume it will be cancelled.  I've never taken another appointment that conflicts with something on the books, but in the back of my mind I know the appt is up in the air until confirmed.

In a perfect world people would schedule 1-3 days in advance with me.  But I have few time obligations beyond this.

It does depend on circumstances.

For example, if you are traveling to another city, or you learn that a traveling provider is coming to your city, I think it is fine to make an appointment as soon as you know your or her dates.  It is also important to keep in touch with the person in the weeks before just to let them know that you are still on board.

On the other hand, for seeing someone who lives nearby, a week is all that is usually necessary.

I'm just finalizing something for the end of next week. I'll be traveling on business, and the lady has been very gracious in working with my yet finished business plans. In certain cities, Las Vegas for instance, you can never plan to far in advance if you want to see the top rated escorts. When I'm hobbying at home, I usually plan a day or two in advance.   As far as when do you stop being a newbie question, I figure I can always learn something about the hobby. But I'll leave you with "just when you think you know all the answers, they change the questions"

I prefer it but I also prefer no more than a wk in advance.
