I used to strip for a year at a top club in Vegas. It paid for my last year at university. I had a blast and had more hot clothes and shoes than I knew what to do with.

The girls that escort are looked down on in the stripping biz. First off you can make more $ than escorting, so the girls that did had problems, serious drug addictions or lack of judgement, or they weren't making dough because they were crazy mean, etc.

Additionally, they sucked at escorting, they hated it, and I knew some girls that would routinely drug their guys with ecstacy so that he couldn't preform and wouldn't remember and she could skip out, cash and dash. Look, if these girls wanted to escort they would, and would not be wasting their time taking on and off their outfit, risking tripping onstage or in the dark, or getting mugged, stalked, etc.

If she looks to good to be true, she probably is.

I've tried it, without much success... I think the other posters are right on all counts - it's probably a lot easier to find a quality escort on-line than in a strip club.

If you want to pay a lot more and be dissapointed to boot, then strip clubs are the place to go. Now that I have been a smartass, let me add my 4 cents worth.

Escorts and strip club dancers are not in the same business at all, one is all about parting you with as much $$$ as they can without providing anything but what they advertise, erotic dancing. An Escort is there to provide you with personal service, and a good escort will leave you with a smile on your face for days. You *may* be able to find a dancer that escorts on the side, but the chances of a good encounter are not in your favor.

As for strip clubs in general, hell, do the math, at $20 a dance minimum, about 3minutes each.. thats $400 an hour you are shelling out.... plus tips and $8.00 to $12.00 drinks...and for what.. I have seen guys drop $500 to $1000 in strip clubs in one evening... I am pretty sure they were not smiling the next day.

Save your $1000 and find a good escort, most rates are in the $250 range, and sometimes less. Do the math. Use this board as a resource and you should be able to find a quality escort who is not interested in ripping you off, the VERY BEST ESCORTS love their work, and are VERY good at it.

Since the clubs are legal businesses with licenses at risk, they will generally fire any of their dancers discovered to be doing any 'side business'. Consequently, any gal who does escort most likely has a big time problem and is a poor bet.
