I am new to TER and have traditionally used Backapge in my city since it is fairly scam free in Toronto. I understand that Las Vegas TER providers need references, what do you suggest for someone like myself that has not put up reviews and does not have TER references. Are the Vegas horror stories about being robbed etc. really common.

You provide your work information to ONE person with a site that is hosted outside of the U.S. and after you see a couple providers willing to see guys with no refs but who have been verified through P411, they go back and vouch for you. This is not 100 percent mind you, as some women will still not see you, but you will open up yourself to a network of women that would have never looked twice at you without a membership.

If you have no references be prepared to provide personal info about yourself to be screened.
If you take your chance meeting someone in a hotel here in vegas you take a huge risk which IMO if you know about ter that should not even be an option.

Try signing up for one of the verification sites P411/Date-check but be prepared some ladies may still require additional info along with membership to either one of those sites.
Unfortunately the same thing cannot be said for backpage in vegas as your experiences in Toronto.
Get vip membership here if you do not have already.

You say you use back page in your hometown of Toronto, you might try researching all the ladies you have seen through Back Page to see if any of them have reviews here on TER. If so, you can contact them to see if they would be willing to act as a reference for you. Of course if none of your BP ladies have ever been reviewed here, then you are back to square one with a verification service being your best, and only bet.

and yes, do not simply start calling BP gals in Vegas who have never been reviewed, the horror stories are true. Not that you can't play Russian Roulette and never win, but do you really want to take that big a gamble?

P411 will work with you to verify that you are legit and not LE.  It's better to give your personal info to just one person, as opposed to handing it out to several providers.  P411 also allows the ladies to indicate if they are newbie friendly which you should look for.

Also suggest you read the self help center, link under the life preserver at top of page.  Lots of do's and don't's are explained in there.

Don't know about the Vegas horror stories, but in any big city, anything can happen.  Most people here will tell you to stay clear of bp in the US, although there are many quality providers that do use it with success.

Yes Vegas has a lot of scams and ripoffs. But they also have some amazing independant ladies there and two reputable agencies there. Most other agencies are bait and switch and robs. Don't fall for the card flippers on the street either, and while BP might be good in Toronto and some US cities, I would stay away from backpage in Vegas.

The best bet is to stick with TER reviewed ladies in Vegas. As far as screening, P411 is not a bad idea. Also GaGambler's suggestion might work. There are also many ladies there who will screen you in other ways, and being that Vegas is a tourist city, they are used to dealing with guys from out of the country. If you posted this same question on the Vegas board, I bet you would have received some help, including several ladies posting "pick me" posts.  I saw the post you did have on the Vegas board. You were looking for supermodels for 400 bucks and talking about craigslist. Did you expect anyone to take that post as other than a joke? Maybe try your post again, posting what you did here. Also check the vegas ad board, and search reviews. (VIP is necessary to properly search reviews, as mentioned by one of the other posters).  

Maybe contact Zach at lv100proof. The ladies are in your price range. The other agency has higher rates.

While not all indies will accept the reference of an agency, Zach has been around for years and him vouching for you would go a long ways with most Vegas ladies.

Limit your gambling to the casino, not the escorts. While nothing is a dead solid lock, do your research and stay with well reviewed providers. One other thing, that I don't think anyone mentioned, stay away from the CGs. I spend a fair amount of time in Vegas, and get  hit on almost every time Im in the casino late at night by Casino Girls.  They troll the casinos looking for johns. Do Not under any circumstance accept an offer from a CG no matter how hot she is and no matter what type of deal she promises you.   The CGs run all types of scams from upsell to outright stealing anything that's not nailed down or in the safe of your room.
