If you're doing your homework, there should be no issue whatsoever with the integrity of the provider and placing the donation (with or with envelop) where she wants it, should be one of the first things you do when entering the incall. . Since you haven't written a review, I have no idea what quality of lady you're seeing.
Now as far as the OP, what happened to the DND hanger on the door knob and what about the dead bolt? I've been interrupted a time or two with a knock on the door, don't have a clue who it was, we just ignored the knocking and continued on with our fun.

Boss, why would you want to kick a guys ass for being a gentleman and trying to fix his mistake? Why would any guy even want to kick someone's ass anyways? Yes it was dumb to just pop up over there to drop it off, but at the same time I commend the guy for trying to be honest. I am going to assume she did back to back appts, which isn't a bright thing in my opinion... as he would have just called her and notified her that he was coming back. I think you may have mentioned the ass kicking perhaps because it made everything awkward and/or scary. Fuck, I sure don't like interruptions and I'd be weirded out too if I was at a guy's place and someone knocked on the door. Yes I agree with you that she is lucky you didn't leave. I get weirded out I'd leave too. Why would she give you a freebie for something like that? Shit happens and it wasn't her fault. Robbie, I don't know a single person who doesn't ask for it upfront (at least the first time). Ubber stupid if she doesn't and may be setting herself up to being ripped off. You guys don't want to be ripped off, well fuck neither do we. Duh. Yes I agree that some are sub-par or will do upsell (but these are not well reviewed ladies), but that is where doing your homework comes in. Well reviewed ladies will rarely do something like that (unless somethings happens in their lives that causes them to go bad) and if you are doing your homework, you shouldn't be concerned about being busted.

...you're not the brightest bulb in the box are you. I'm nice here on the newbie board but when you're wrong it needs to be drilled in. No you don't put the donation down after the session. Don't bring that garbage here and act like it's the way to do things. You obviously have no clue so sit down, shut up, and listen. Hopefully you will learn a thing or two.

First off, I am hardly sub-par. Yes, donation up front. That's just a no-brainer, derp.
And if you're with providers who jack you for more after the session, you ain't doin' your homework, son. You get what you pay for. You go higher scale, you get higher scale. There are those of us who are consummate professionals (no pun intended-- ok, maybe a little pun). You come across a con artist? Then review her appropriately if you saw her here or on NR or anywhere else.
If I came across anyone who said payment after, I'd laugh. Then leave.
