7) In order to keep our performance ratings consistent, we set up the following system: An escort provider may only eligible to earn up to a 7, unless she also willing to performs the following during a session: {"KISSES WITH TONGUE", Bare-Back Blow Job, "REALLY BI", Anal Sex, or More than One Guy. The addition of each offering will raise the score she is eligible for by one point.}
{This does not mean she earns extra points for performing the service; just that she is now eligible for a higher score. "Her maximum eligible score is based on what is offered, not what is taken".) You may or may not be interested in the “extra” services she has, but the fact she offers them makes her eligible for the higher score.
***If your review doesn’t already accurately reflect this rating system, we will adjust it.***
My question is.. what does this last part mean exactly? If I offer these things all of my reviews should reflect that higher score (whether they received any of them or not?) or else TER will adjust it?
For example: lets say someone gives me a 7 for performance.. but I offer BBBJ and kissing with tongue. Does TER go in and adjust that to a 9?
The last part is a statement made after explaining how high of a score TER will allow. If a hobbyist attempts to give a provider a 10, but the acts offered only add up to a max. of 8, then they will adjust it down to an 8.
In the example you give, TER is not going to adjust the number up to a 9, they will never do that. The hobbyist can even give a lower score than 7, if that is how he feels the session went. Hope that helps.
TER will never adjust your score UP. What they will do is adjust it DOWN if you do not offer the services that qualify you for a number higher than 7. As an example, a few weeks ago some guy gave a FBSM lady a 10 for performance. Well, according to TER's system she was not eligible for anything higher than a 7 for performance. In fact, every other review she had was a 7 for performance. I filled out a problem report and the rating was lowered to a seven.
Fake reviews obviously do exist. I have seen many over the years. There is really no way to prevent them. That being said, inflating the score of a lady who does not meet the criteria for a particular available score is wrong. It is an irresponsible use of the review system that TER has established. The problem report system is in place so that members of TER can help keep the profiles of the ladies we see up to date and so that verifiable mistakes can be corrected. I have submitted many problem reports over the years in order to rectify various inaccuracies in reviews and provider profiles.
What about inflating the score of a lady who DOES meet the criteria? Isn't that STILL wrong? TER should not be inflating anyone's score for any reason, they weren't there.. they don't know what the score should be. If that's the case then why bother writing a review in the first place?!
He's said TER never adjusts up, only down - when minimal criteria isn't met to justify the score based on available services.
BG reports when he thinks a reviewer has inflated the score above what is supposed to be acceptable for the listed available services, so that TER can properly adjust it down to reflect the available services.
As an aside, maximum scores are not for services received, but for what is available. Even if a client did not personally engage in Greek, CIM etc., as long as he lists it as available the higher scores are still permissible.
I understand all of that, I was referring to a post someone made on the MN board that TER has recently inflated someone's score. :-/ And I was asking everyone if they thought whether that was wrong or not.
You have a guy stating that someone else told him this. I really wonder if he has his facts straight, there has to be much more to it, if anything. Interesting that TER admin has called him out wanting to know who and what he is talking about.
Now if you read the guy's post, he does not even say that TER inflated the score, he says TER refused to post the review unless the score was raised. That sounds more likely and under certain circumstances that could happen. TER can certainly refuse to post any review for any reason. For example, about 4 months ago I posted a problem report on a new review posted by a hobbyist. The provider has about 30 reviews, mostly 8's, a few 7's and a few 9's. He gives her a 4/2. In the review he stated he paid for an hour and was actually there for 75 minutes but he was upset because his actual 'playtime' was only 45 minutes. The provider stopped him before he could complete round 2, but round one was great, DFK, BBBJ, etc. He even stated she called him after he left and apologised that he was upset that she would not extend his session longer. My problem was that after all that she did do, and he was there for well past the hour the score of a 4/2 was just ridiculious and obviously the guy was just pissed. The review was taken down...but they did not inflate the score...I have never heard of such a thing.
The only consistency to be found is INconsistency.
"10. Both the General and Juicy details should be at least four lines long or (preferably) longer."
I have encountered highly scored reviews that totaled THREE lines when General details and Juicy details were combined.
"2. Be fair and honest in your reviews -- this is what the providers do for a living. PLEASE BE WARNED: We will not post any review that slams or denigrates a provider, nor will we post reviews that contain such derogatory terms such as: Cunt, bitch, slut ¬ or any politically inappropriate wording that might hurt someone’s feelings."
I have seen reviews with 7 & 8 scores that were polite, non- slanderous, non-defamatory and non-derogatory; but decidedly non-effusive about particular providers. These reviews would get summarily removed from these providers history shortly after posting. Prima fascia that would not incur undue suspicion; but when the provider has 3 or more most recent pages of perfect 10 - 10s, sometimes including redundant reviewers; one has to go Hmmmmmmm.
“15.We consider all reviews to be fictional stories that are posted by TER solely for entertainment purposes.”
So far I’ve only encountered ONE reviewer (at least in LA) who is allowed literary license for imaginative flights of colorful fiction within his reviews. Everyone else’s are held to a certain inflexible journalistic formula that when strayed from are summarily denied.
As I said, fake reviews exist and there is not much we can do about it. Inflating scores at anyone's request is wrong but honestly, what you are reading on the local board in question is pure conjecture. You have someone claiming that someone else was told to do something. There is no documented proof that it actually happened. You are dealing with a bunch of aliases posting in complete anonymity who may very well have their own agendas.
As far as why anyone would bother to write a review? Well, the system is not perfect (if you have a better one please tell us about it) but the vast majority of reviews are real. The performance and appearance numbers are completely subjective and, honestly, not much use without the body of the full written review to go along with them. If it was up to me, the numbers would not even be visible to non VIP members.
The reason I make it a point to report inflated ratings for girls who don't provide the required services is because it pisses me off that I can't give my ATF a ten since she doesn't do anal or girl/girl. I'm having the best sex of my life with her and I should be able to rate that a ten. As I said previously, it is the written review that tells the story. Sometimes it seems like the numbers are just a tease to attract non-VIP's to the site.
I've seen where a prolifically reviewed provider who's high scores have bitten her in the ass with non VIP members. Her services on her profile (as well as many of her "Juicy details") are not as liberal as many other providers. Her overall service however has earned her many performance scores higher than what is supposedly allowed by TER. A non-VIP shopper with neither access to her entire profile OR the reviewers “Juicy Details” figures she is a cum swallowing, bi-sexual, DATY loving anal freak according to her scores, and he subsequently books an appointment with her. When the ill informed hobbyist gets none of the aforementioned he turns around and often slams her in BOTH performance AND appearance in his review.
The numbers thing is insane. Beauty is subjective. The performance scores don't make any sense either.. I agree with whoever said they're having the best sex of their lives and it sucks that they can't even give the girl a 10. Or to the guy who said he's had some handjobs that were better than any sex and can't give those a high acore either. Ugh.. I just think it's a big mess.
All I know is, I do my research. And, based on my research of the reviews, I've seldom been surprised or disappointed with a date. I think that is the purpose of the review system. Definitely better results than I would have gotten without TER, I bet.
because you're not on the receiving end of it. How would you feel if lies were being told about you in reviews yet you felt the need to stay because the majority of your business came from the place that allows them?
Just because something is better than what you've previously had doesn't mean you shouldn't speak up, defend yourself and fight for something better.
This thread and many other reasons are why I refuse reviews altogether. There was an incident on my local board where a guy got pissed off at a lady and wrote a very damaging review stating falsified drug use. Once out of the gate the damage was done. He then retracted his statement but as I said, the damage was done.
Lauren35 you are now realizing that this is a hobbyist board and not a board for the ladies. You will always be on the short end of things when it comes to anything that directly relates to the guys. If you want to be a part of this community you really have to have a) thick skin (sometimes) and b)deal with the rules the way they are or c) don't except reviews and realize that you won't see many hobbyists and finally d) enjoy the non-hobbyist type men who could care less about numbers and reviews.
And you believe lies are never told about clients? You know, if I read several reviews that said you didn't provide BBBJs and one that said you did, which do you think I'd believe? Again, no one is for forcing either the providers or clients to stay. Don't you think this whole subject has provided enough drama on your regional board?
You're absolutely right. Two long-ass threads just in the past two days on the same subject that accomplished nothing except putting countless people at each other's throats.
So, naturally, let's go to another board and see what kind of shit we can stir up. They should all just try smiling. It's really quite easy, and much more satisfying.
but they also being well versed in English composition along with strong and adroitly argued opinions only served to prematurely silence their voice on these boards.
yes it has and its become way out of hand. I started this thread asking a very simple question.. and look where it's gone! All I wanted was an answer to my question, not a debate.. shit, I get enough of that at my day job!
I started this thread by asking a very simple question. I truly wanted an answer, reviews and the way they are handled was something I didn't quite understand.. I just wanted some clarity on the subject, not a fight. There are threads on the MN board that have become way out of hand mostly (it seems) because people do not know the facts or the rules.. and I was one of them.. so, I asked here. I certainly didn't mean to start yet another argument. I do however believe that silencing people in a forum where opinions and advice should be shared is truly a sad thing.. especially when those who are speaking are standing up for what they believe is right. Whether it brings change or not is another thing, but at least I can say I tried.
Yes, you did ask a question about an issue of confusion, and got two very respectful, informative and insightful answers. Then, you seemed to challenge them by saying, "That's not what I heard," and introducing some other issues that started on the MN board. I think you got the answer to your question, but did not accept it, and/or was looking for something more. You're right. Injustice is painful. However, if I read you right, you are looking for perfect justice and honesty regarding what is said in reviews, and recourse from TER when it does not occur. Our legal system is set up to try to determine the truth between two disputing parties and dispense justice. Yet, we all know, this system which is designed to do so, often fails. So, how would you expect even a higher standard of TER.
