I want to believe REALLY badly that the chick I THINK I am emailing and expecting to show up at my hotel WILL in fact be who I THINK it is.

But the "too good to be true' adage just gnaws at me.

Can anyone give a newbie about to take his first plunge some REAL advice on why I should go through with it and feel confident it isn't going to go terribly bad??

This woman I want to meet is gorgeous, has her own website and has glowing TER reviews, charges rates commensurate with 'higher' end providers. And then I dig deeper and she has multiple websites, variations on her name, apparently SOME affilitation with an agency..etc...so I peel back the onion a little more...and it starts to seem "too good to be true" bleeding through.

She has a GREAT website....and I read up on the do's and don'ts...even the "legal corner". So then I start to look at her site a little differently. And on her first page she talks about (paraphrasing) "if we meet in public put the cash in an envelope and discreetly hand it to me". WOW. That seems like THE WORST thing to do now that I research more. And this is an 'experienced, well reviewed' provider! In her 'rules section she says...no talk of sex/money ever....leave it on the dresser...etc. Which is TOTALLY contradictory to the first advice!!

I don't know.....just over thinking this probably..but I think this broad is perfect for me.

On a  more serious note, you are OVER thinking all this ! If you have done your homework (sounds like you have), and the lady is very well reviewed (you say she is), then you have almost nothing to worry about ! Relax before your date, and bring a bottle of wine.

How do you find the individual 'city' boards?

TER is not perfect. it isn't too good to be true but you do need to be careful.

don't want to put cash in an envelope and give it her a public meeting? meet her at her incall.

does she have a lot of reviews over an extended period of time? that is usually a good indication that she hasn't been busted. some providers have an affiliation with an agency and if they are also good enough to manage also work on their own as independents.

i almost booked a disaster for my first encounter. i was looking at eros ads and had narrowed down my list to 5. i went through my list one last time before placing a call to the #1 pick. luckily among the final 5 was a girl who had a TER banner on her website. i clicked on it discovered TER and in half an hour discovered that my #1 choice was a notorious rip off artist!

meeting in public is different from meeting in private. so the rules (hand an envelope versus place envelope on dresser) are different. the contradiction you see is just your nervousness. the risks and rules have to be different in different circumstances.

for a first encounter i would never meet in public. go to her place. place the envelope on the dresser or table.

if i liked someone enough to repeat and meet in public i would create a little gift package with an envelope attached BTW to make sure it looks like what it is, a gift.

you are seeing problems where there are none. if you can't get past it, don't do it.

My man, I think you are over-thinking this.  If you have that much fear, this may not be for you.  Many providers provide different information in regards to the circumstances at hand.  Often times, it is because they want to cover as many possible scenarios as possible so they won't have to keep answering questions.  In your situation, if you're going to meet her in public, do as she asks.  If you're going to meet her in a hotel, do as she asks.  You don't have to do them all.  
And yes, some providers do have multiple websites, especially if they tour different areas.  Trust the reviews and have a great time.

Yeowwww, my brain is cramping. But I'll try to answer a few of the questions you have.

I assure you that the vast majority of the reviews on this site are legitimate. TER does an excellent job of tracking down and removing fake reviews. No site is going to be fool proof of course, but of the various review sites out there, conventional wisdom is that this site is one of the best at keeping fake reviews out. Just because a reviewer's writing style differs from your own doesn't mean the review is fake. I'm pretty sure it would have never ocurred to me to compare the size of my clit to a baby's big toe for instance. Yup, someone really wrote that in one of my reviews. I still can't decide if I like that description or not. Its just well, kinda weird! LOL

2. As to your concerns about the lady you are preparing to see, first let me say that it does sound as though you've done your homework very thorougly. I only wish every man were as thorough. Perhaps you've even done it too thoroughly. Without knowing exactly what you've found in the way of different websites, different names, etc I can perhaps shed a little light on why things can change. Many ladies start with an agency and then go independent. When this happens, the lady often changes her name. That may be what you are seeing here, a former agency lady who is now independent. There are other reasons at times why a lady needs to change her name, a common one being 'outed' to friends and family. Also, when ladies update or create new websites, the old one doesn't always get disabled. To complicate things further, there are literally dozens of knock-off "escort malls" who troll sites like TER, EROS, and other sites for listings and create profiles for women. Usually if a lady wants to update or remove herself from one of these sites she has to pay to do it - and that is if she even FINDS herself on the site. I know of 5 sites who created profiles for me when I was just getting started 3 years ago. The profiles are still there, the rates are out of date, pics are old, contact info is old, but it still links to my website or TER, and there ain't a damned thing I can do about it. So basicaly what I'm saying is that finding a different name for her might not necessarily be a red flag.

3. Regarding the donation, what she instructs on her website is pretty par for the course. The general rule is don't discuss money WITH her. That is in fact the purpose of putting it on her website. There is no need to discuss anything since she has indicated on her site how she prefers to conduct the transaction. Simply follow her instructions, and all is well.

You said she has great reviews on TER. That is your best reassurance that she is in fact what you are expecting her to be based on her website and reviews. Good luck, hope this advice helped a little, and I hope she knocks your socks off. You deserve it after all that diligent digging!

Some ladies are independent, but when touring will work with a particular agency in a city they are visiting. This removes the need for them to do their own screening and scheduling. In this case, she isn't truly an agency woman per se, but uses agencies for her convenience when touring. Just one more reason why you might have tracked down an agency affiliation for a woman who appears to be independent.
