Hello folks, I am relatively new here, but I was just wondering about this. I posted my second review on the 10th and 6 days have past. Finally they posted its status as "deferred" with reason being "on hold". What does it mean? Will it be approved eventually!? Has it happened to any of you out here? Please help!

A first review for a gal, especially from a new reviewer.

In time if more credible reviews come in for her and from you, they may then publish this and the other reveiws.

It is a safety mechanism to avoid self reviews and other devious means of getting a good review under false pretenses.

Perhaps a TER management person is reading this and would care to comment.

You may know this-none of the gal's I have reviewed have ever said that anyone from TER verified reviews that were made about them-I have had quite a few gal's ask me to do a review for them and have subsequently seen them several more times after the review-do you know if TER attempts to contact the gal to verify the review before it is approved?

But no, they don't confer with the lady regarding reviews.  Can you imagine the 700,000 emails and/or calls just for the approved reviews and the 2.x million for the unapproved ones?  After doing that all day, they'd need to get laid.

If a lady registers on TER they have a record if her computer / IP.  Reviewers can not submit reviews from a providers computer to prevent self reviews & other fraud.  Perhaps, this hold is pending more data.
