Providers can be DELISTED for 'bad behaviour' = breaking TER rules and stuff like that. I think that dangerously false advertising is one possibility. In another case, I know of someone who created a regular account so she could post to the forums as if she was a guy. Caught and banned.
Providers can request that their reviews and profiles be removed. Some retire and want to erase as much history as possible and TER obliges their requests. Other sites will keep their info 'out there' until their servers crash and burn.
A provider can request that a review be removed. If she can make a strong case to TER that it is inaccurate or untrue, it can be removed. I know of a grand total of one review that was deleted. (She whined to me about the incident: "He said I did [...]! He lied! I don't do that!" She already had 30+ reviews so it wasn't a problem making her case. The review was removed.)
Compared to other sites? I can't say.
I have seen many of the escort that had great reviews here, well their review links disappear, yet they are still on all the other review sites. Many of us have emailed TER asking about these girls and always get the lame explanation that THEY ARE NO LONGER WITH TER and you don't know why, and you will not accept their reviews.
I am also wondering about what I hear on many of the forums, that girls on TER that give discounts to the FRIENDS of the site, get to modify their own reviews and I have seen several escorts with a bad review and then only the bad review disappears.
I gathered this information and list of questions by spending several months on several of the adult forums.
There is many of us ready to pick out the next reviews site as most of or group is from escort.com.

mentioning other sites is sometimes allowed, and usually at the discretion of the moderator.
Considering the context and the fact that the other site is essentially defunct, I see no harm in the mention.
I will address on of the issues raised by the OP, any suggestion that TER moderators or "friends of TER" can be complicit in review fraud is absolutely false.
Moderators have absolutely nothing to do with the review system and the people tasked with approving the reviews aren't even in this country.
TER's review system is not perfect and there is too much room to defraud the system, just like there is on everyother review site, but any fraud committed will come from without, not from within. There just isn't anyone with any influence on reviews available to bribe.
Now if anyone would like to offer a lowly moderator a bribe, I would love to hear your offer, but the only thing I can really offer is to unmoderate you early. I wonder how much that is worth on the open market? keep in mind there are two mods on this board so whatever you offer us, we will have to split. Anyone want to open the bidding?
Sometimes you will come across a Profile with zero reviews. That can happen when a reviewer gets a review accepted and that creates the Profile (with one review). Subsequently, if the reviewer gets banned, e.g., for violating TER policies, submitting false reviews, etc., all of his reviews will be deleted. In that kind of situation, if there are no additional reviews, the Profile remains but there are zero reviews. New reviews can still be added, though.
But if you have a way to contact that provider still, there's nothing stopping you from contacting her and asking why.
TER is not part of some sort of consortium of review sites. It is a privately run site just as all of the other review type sites are. Is it perfect? No, none of them are. If you don't like the way things are done here you are free to move right on out...
