After reading a ton of posts here I finally booked a provider.. (thanks).

I understand that you should always accept the invitation to shower, but I'd like clarification on what that entails. Are you expected to shampoo? Reason why I'm asking is that I spend a good 5-10 minutes putting hair products in it, and I'm not sure how reasonable it would to be to bring along the necessary 'stuff' to redo the hair afterwards. Is a quick 2 minute shower adequate (ie, use soap all over) or does that appear to be lacking effort?

Sorry for the petty question(s)!

On the average, I'm probably offered a shower less than half of the time(of course, I always shower before heading out for an appointment).
With that said, if the provider offers it, you should accept it. You don't need to do your whole routine. I'm sure she'd be more concerned with the body parts which will be getting the most attention, if you know what I mean.

...if the provider is willing. This may not usually be available but the never hurts to ask. I did that with a girl out in Thailand and was my kind of water sport!!!!

A 2 minute body wash with soap is all the lady is looking for. I always shower at home before heading to the appointment but as a general rule if it's been more than a couple of hours I always take one when I get there.

As far as asking her to join you goes I wouldn't expect it, or even ask on a first date but down the road it's certainly a possibility. I got a jacuzzi upgrade on a room a couple of weeks ago and the lady was more than happy to join me in there for a bit of relaxation between rounds.

Good Question - but you want to make the experience good for her! I was in DC last week (very humid) - didn't have a car and was in a suit when I took the metro - I got to her place but when I got there I was dripping wet! She asked if I wanted to shower first while she got ready! She had a body wash gel - so I used it all over! But I took a two minute quick shower - no need to waste time! I had a great FBSM experience and then afterwards took a quick shower again from all the lotion! So - make it good for her and who cares what you look like afterwards! I thought my hair was crap (could have use hair gel, brush and blow dryer  but that wasn't availability) - and I didn't care! And oh! I never had so many showers in one day!

BTW - I am a newbie as well and getting naked for the first time and not feeling - well - intimated with my nakedness in front of her was awesome! We have to put our judgements aside and just ENJOY!!

Never thought of that! But thanks for the idea! Yes - it never hurts to ask!

No need to bother about your hair.  We just want you to be clean.  So, as stated above, if the lady suggests a shower then you should accept and hop in for a quick 2 minute scrub!

Thanks for the prompt response, this board is really great for asking those 'too stupid otherwise' type questions.

It was as I expected, just making sure. :)

Only once has a provider asked to shower, and understandably so...it was August in DC, several blocks from the Metro stop to her apartments, and I was wearing a poplin shirt that showed sweat so easily...pretty good reason to ask!

She was a good sport, considering the nasty wound I had on my arm and the fact that I didn't have anything to rebandage it with afterwards.....but that's another story.

BikeBryan - you are too funny! For some reason I seem to break out in a weird way and am always going - this is nice! Where did this come from! DC was hot in August and being in a suit was ackward. I ended up walking almost a mile to the place from the metro! What was I thinking but the metro was faster than a taxi - I have to re-examine travel options! Good Luck in the future!
