Newbie's White List Promise Unfulfilled

I recently had a three-hour session with a provider that included a nice dinner.  I thought that the evening went quite well and asked if she would be willing to White List me on TER and P411.  She agreed to, but requested that I post my review of her first and that she be allowed to approve it before I submitted it to TER.  I complied and the review that she approved and it was posted - no White List.  I sent her a friendly e-mail reminder a few days later - still no White List.  About a week later I PM'd her asking if I had offended her in some way and whether it was still O.K. to use her as a referral - no response.

I am totally confused at this point as I wrote a very favorable review and this was a well-established provider.  Am I just being naïve/should forget about it or should I report this to TER?

Did you write something untrue in the review to get a wl?  If not then I'm not sure ter will say or do anything about it. Reviews (especially exhaugerated ones) should not be tied to wl or the other way around. You can't make her give you one, no more than anyone can make you give a review.

Possibly she has just been busy and hasnt gotten to it yet or maybe there is another reason such as something you did do or something she doesn't feel warrants a wl yet ... Some providers only give them out after a few sessions to make sure your personality doesn't change. I would not assume it is anything you did or she shouldn't have agreed in the first place. Whitelisting someone only takes a couple of seconds so she must have a reason ... Good or bad I would say just move on.

Wish the best for you ... Keep trying and you should be able to get some from other providers.

To ignore your messages, I find that most of the misunderstandings between us an gentlemen start due to the lack of professional courtesy. I treat this as a business, if she can't  deliver what she verbally agreed on then, she lacks of integrity  specially if you have politely contacting regarding the incident not once but twice. I would just move on... If your review is favorable and accurate according to what exactly happened during the session then just forget about it... She is loosing the possibility of keeping you as a regular but in the large scheme of things you may not be losing much, sometimes whitelist referrals may not mean much if you character is good and other  top providers can vouch for you.

Seems like you did what she asked. Post on the reviewers board if you are on it.  Reporting it to TER admin will probably not do much.  Better to let your fellow mongers know.

Thanks.  How do I get on the Reviewers Board?  Also, would she be able to see that?  I am a newby and I don't want to elicit any reprisals that might damage my reputation with other potential providers (that's why I'm using an alias here).

...is called the NEWBIE board.  You need TEN reviews to be on the Reviewer's Only board.

Some gals go into periods of radio silence for extended periods of time.  The life of an escort is often a lot different from yours and mine.  She may have some heavy issues to deal with right now.

Also, don't hector her with lots of emails.  Some providers really take offense at that.

I'd let a couple of more weeks go by and if you have not heard from her, send her one last friendly reminder.  If that doesn't do the trick, then give up.  Believe me, on a 1 to 10 scale of possible hobby problems, this one rates a 2.

It is my understanding that WLs are given to clients that have proven to be reliable. Trying to pressure or bargain someone into whitelisting you isn't the way to go.

You are not required to review anyone if you don't want to, she is under no obligation to WL you either.

When you take into account that some gals (right or wrong) use whitelists as deciding factors when screening, they shouldn't be given out without careful consideration. The gals have to look out for eachother, there are some real creeps out there.

Think she will give you one if you cry to TER? How about a "blacklist" that can easily happen if you harass a provider or otherwise pi$$ her off.

Calm down, go see someone else (or her again as long as you don't mention the WL) and have fun with the hobby!

I have had ladies ask me for TER handle and WL before I was accepted by screening sites.  Similarly, I have contacted ladies that asked for WL because while they were members of TER, they were not part of DC nor P411.

In hindsight, I am not sure if I would see another lady that was not a member of a screening service.

and should be considered fraud, with both parties being subjected to sanctions for acting in this manner.

Of course that is never going to happen, just like some providers are always going to manipulate the system. There will never be a perfect system as long as humans are involved. All we can do is to play as fair as we can and encourage others to do the same.

Good for you for refusing to be manipulated. Your fellow providers owe you a debt of gratitude. I wish I could say the same about the OP, but he is a newbie and hopefully he will learn.

I beg to differ on your characterization of what took place here.  I was neither bargaining nor being manipulated.  I merely asked the provider if she would white list me based on what I felt was a mutually positive experience and she agreed to do so subject to my posting a review.  The review was completely accurate and she did not ask me to change anything before it was posted.  She subsequently went back on her word and has failed to respond to my inquiries,  As you may recall from your own first days in the hobby, it's difficult hard for newbies to develop "street cred".  If getting white listed is a waste of time then I won't bother in the future.
