Hey guys, I know I've asked for advice before regarding newbie conduct, but I was wondering if I could ask another question. How did you guys get your first referrals? It seems like the #1 rule is to always check TER for reviews, but it seems like all the girls on TER ask me for references, which I don't have. I explain to them that I am new and give them employment info, but so far, it's just hangups and apologies.

Do you guys have any pointers regarding how to get those first referrals? Thanks in advance.

Read the newbie manual (link above the forum) and read some of the posts, as well as search for what you are interested in such as "references" "verification" etc.
