I am a new provider in L.A. I have lurked on TER, EscortBlogs, and CL for a long time and decided to finally take the "plunge."

I'm a plus size BBW, so I know my market is much more restricted and my rates aren't going to be as high as many non-plus size ladies. But, from what I read, the market is here and I would like to do this and be safe from any legal or physical harm. Any tips from hobbyists or providers?

CL has a bad reputation among hobbyists right now. I'd think twice about using it. You should probably check out the providers only section here on TER as well.

The more you know, the safer and happier you will be.

Always spend the time it takes to learn who your intended dates are.  Talk to them and get comfortable with them. Get references.  Trust your inner sense and if you sense danger, don't go through with it.

Never take an offer that sounds too good to be true.  It will probably be a cop.

Make discretion your watch word.

I'm a BBW provider. While you may think the market is restricted because of that, there are a few things to consider. Some men appreciate a woman with more flesh, honestly. Everyone has their own personal taste. Please, please, please don't think that just because you are a thick girl that you should have to reduce your rates. I think you're trying to under compensate for something you have absoluetly no reason to. Each of us has our own perogative which includes rates. Consider your rates on your personal choice, not by comparison.

You have private mail.  Dont worry about there not being a high market for you, there is someone for everyone.  H*ll, I look so sweet and innocent, and once Im met...my gents are wondering what hit them lol!  Seriously though, youll be ok, read the boards, ask for advice, stay away from CL...Im not saying everyone there is evil, but its not a good place to be, especially a newbie, back when I was 6 months new I would throw a post on there if things were slow, but only after learning some ins and outs of screening, etc. and now that Im established with great reviews, I can just sit back and enjoy the boards and the banter, pay my membership dues for only two sites and enjoy my newfound friends.  Get yourself listed on escort sites, check out the sites of other ladies, most of us have banners for ad malls, a lot of them offer a free posting, get your name out there, youll be fine.  Just be safe, know who your clients are, go with your gut (youll know what I mean when it happens) and once all of the business end is taken care of...HAVE FUN!
