New provider and LE check

There is a provider on TER with two pages of great reviews going back several months. She also advertises on BP. When you click on her personal web site, it informs you she is out of the country on vacation, but gives a full page of another provider she recommends while she is gone. That provider, in her very descriptive web page, claims she is new, and has no reviews. Would you call that a safe bet because the original out of town provider vouches for and recommends her?

I have a tenative appointment with her this weekend to meet for coffee in lieu of giving references (my suggestion, as I am new and have no references, and she agreed to the meet).

My second question...I understand what an LE check is, but how does one do it when you meet a provider. Do you ask to see her ID? Check her for a wire (lol), and how does the provider usually acomplish it? I am afraid of an impass when we meet if neither of us take the plunge.

There is no true LE check.  There is no substitute for research and screening. The chances are that if she is willing to meet you for coffee she is not LE but going through life believing in fairy tales is never a good idea.

Bostonguy, I'm just trying to understand the dynamics. In reviews, guys will say "she answered the door and after the LE check was complete, we were off to the bedroom." So what took place to make the LE check?

and not to get too far off track, the important thing I want input on from you experienced ones are: would you see a new provider with no reviews if an out of town well reviewed provider recommends her?

Normally touching or showing of breasts or privates. But it is a myth. LE can and have done both. If you are on a hobby date with LE you are busted. LE check or not, I find the LE check fun myself but it will not save you.

Coffe date first? Go for it. I wish all providers offered this ;) What is there to lose? A reference from a well-known provider is pretty good collateral.

Of course, nothing in life is 100%, but I would do it.

The LE check is a complete joke. Right up there with "are you a cop?"

It is riskier than seeing a well reviewed lady. I would but I have much less to lose if busted by LE than most as my SO and I have an open relationship and she sometimes joins me on my dates and I never bring anything I could not afford to lose if she is a scam artist or a thief. This situation is safer than just going off a ad. Its up to your risk tolerance. Mine is higher than many. I would do it if she was my type.

Dude,  the "LE Check" refers to a mutual grope of genitals, or show the tits of some such action that one doesn't expect a fake cop John to do (grope a girl's tits) or a fake cop girl to do (show her tits, grope a John's package).

Its bogus.  If you answer the add and step in the room, and its a Sting, you are arrested, period.  don't fool yourself with false 'safety' measures.
