I'm still fairly new to the hobby. I joined TER just a few months ago and I was in here asking the same questions most newbies ask i.e. "how do you get references"?  

if you want a 7 see 8.5 and above rated women. you should always subtract 1.5 to 2.5 off the looks score, because many guys grade higher than others. just a thought. if you are going for cheap, that's a problem as well. i cant imagine why why one would use bp in an area like canada. lots of hot providers all over.  

a bit more thorough in your research.  If the ladies you are seeing are not attractive to you, are you verifying their pictures ahead of time?  Suggest you avoid high volume gals also.  Join Preferred411 where the providers can indicate they are newbie friendly.  Seek those out.  As a newbie, you should not be just seeing bp gals, you should be looking for well-reviewed ladies by guys that have an established reviewing history.  As I have said numerous times, you can look anywhere, but you gotta do the research on the gals, just as they have to screen you for their safety.

Your only review has an 8 for appearance ... Maybe she was very attractive in general but the issue is with you ... If so you should figure that out ... Its possible you need more of a connection (a mental connection) to be physically interested ... GFEs may be helpful ... Maybe you were just being nice ... Or just not your cup of tea ... Good luck and like the others say ... Research!

LOOK at her TER profile.  Does she provide the expected services?  Are her pictures real & recent?  Run the pictures through Google or TinEye.  
Read her reviews.  
I Do Not know if you are grading too hard.  My question is Did you research ahead of time?   Was your research faulty?  I don't have much trouble if I research correctly.

Just wanted to let you know ladies from Canada give references all the time that are most certainly accepted here. There is actually a Canadian advertising board that many of us here in Boston advertise on.  The legalized aspect has no bearing with a provider giving and or accepting a reference.  You did mention both ladies you were with were agency in Canada.  Some agencies will not provide references.  This may be the issue.  As far as providers that utilize back page: some (myself included) will not accept a reference from a back page provider. In this area back page has a very high "legal presence" for that reason a reference is not acceptable from a lady advertising on that site.  Can't be sure if it's the provider or someone in blue.  If you see a reputable lady in your area she should provide a reference for you.  You could also call the Toronto agency and ask them for a reference.  They may agree doesn't hurt to try.  If all else fails you could join a pre verification site.
