... it online.  This will allow you to use it for online purchases, just like any other card.  I receive AMEX gifts cards all the time, as a method payment, and love them, as they are the same as cash.  I do not know about other gift cards, as I only accept AMEX.

but I have heard many times here that gift cards do not work for purchasing VIP. It is possible that certain ones work.

If you are worrying about using your own cc, then another option is the trustcash method. There has been a lot of positve feedback on that method. YOu can seacrch this board for "trustcash" or "trust cash" and set the date range back to 300 (instead of the default 30) and you will find several threads about it. People that have used it have been very happy with it. Quick, simple, anonymous.

Another option is of course to submit reviews of the BP girls you saw. They have to have a current active online ad, and you had to have seen them within the last 90 days, but if you submit two reviews you get 30 VIP days.

Also, just an FYI - if you haven't joined a verification service yet.
If you date a lady who is on Date-Check ask if she could sponsor you for a 3 month free membership to  date check. A lady did that for me automatically without even asking her. I think providers get some deal from date check for every client they sponsor.

I've been a lurker here too and decided to pony up today. I just tried using a Visa OneVanilla prepaid card, the type that only allows you to register a zip code, and was no able to purchase membership with either CC processor. I agree that TrustCash, although an applaudable attempt, still makes me nervous to use.

Just bought a BALANCE FINANCIAL Prepaid MasterCard at Walgreens (it says "FROM WALGREENS" right on the front), and was extremely disappointed.  It does make you give your SS# when you register, which is does NOT mention on the packaging.... it does say they may require drivers license info.  But that isn't the bad part!  I loaded the card with $25, since the packaging DOES say that it can be used ANYWHERE.  I then went online to register the card. Then I called the toll free number to advise them that I would like them NOT to call me when I made my online INTERNATIONAL purchase, and she updated my online info so the purchase would go through.  She by CHANCE mentioned that there would be a 3% additional fee if used for an international purchase.  Nowhere on the packaging does it say that you must add 3% more to the amount you want to spend IF YOU USE IT FOR AN INTERNATIONAL PURCHASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  If you buy the package, and OPEN IT (which you cannot do in the store), it DOES say on the brochure inside that you must add 3%... but there is nothing on the packaging that you can view before you buy it about that international fee of 3%.  Then she told me I would have to pay another 2.95 fee to reload that extra 75 cents (3%), PLUS the minimum reload amount is $10.00!!!!  So to make a $25 online intl purchase, I now will pay $25.00 plus 2.95 plus 10.00 minimum reload plus another 2.95 fee!!!!!!!!!!  So I went back to Walgreens and give the manager there get a piece of my mind.  I got the phone number of corporate, and will give them a piece of my mind tomorrow.  I did try to get the person (overseas call center, of course) to try to refund me one of those fees, and even talked to a manager.  All the manager could do was put a note on my account to call in 10 days and they would reverse the next $2.95 monthly fee (which I had planned on not ever getting, since I didn't NEED the card after today!).  What a fiasco...  I think this is false advertising (“it says USE ANYWHERE DEBIT MASTERCARD IS ACCEPTED”), and I'd love to know who to contact to report this horrible rip off... anyone know??
