guys, i have been a TER member for 3 years but stupidly never used it.  3 questions:  1) what is my TER number (do i give the girls my membership number to verify myself?);  2) what is the other id guys mentin on her pool41?  and 3)  is it safe to say that if a gal is reviewed on the site that she is definitely not an undercover cop? (law enforcement has been stepping up enforcement in certain parts of the country including mine apparently).  Does this site warn guys about possible problem?  It would really bring me peace of mind if you could share some wisdom on this point.  Absent info, i have become a chcken shit about it, frankly, and can't enjoy myself.  Thanks, Guy.  Great site by the way.

Unless you have whitelists (a form of ok from providers stating that you are safe and pleasant to meet with, your number or handle is not useful at this point), I do not understand the second question, in order to stay safe not only from LE but from scams, pimps, baits and switch and other adverse situations, you should get a VIP membership, read reviews, read your local board etc, a lot of times stings try to be announced on the local board however, don't just rely on that, do your own research on the lady in question, some gentlemen here would say that anyone with 5+ recent positive reviews here with a rating above  8 is fine, but everyone develops their own rules in order to give the amount of peace of mind that you require to play in this arena, one more word of advice, because you are new, please stay away from Backpage, tons of bad things going on there.

If and when you post a review, you can find it by going to your reviews in the "my TER" section.  If you open the review, you will find it listed among other information at the top of the review.

As for being sure that a gal is not LE, all I can say is that it would be very rare for any gal with reviews on TER to be LE, but occasionally a gal gets busted and agrees to set up stings with LE, a process called flipping.

There's not much that can be done about that except to monitor your local board and see if anyone mentions this kind of thing happening.  The last time I can recall this happening was about five years ago in the Chicago area.

1. You do have an ID number but it isn't used for anything. Once you have written a review you can find it as mrfisher explained. If a provider wants your TER information give her your handle (bluewave29). However as Paloma said it won't do the provider much good in researching you until you have written some reviews and some of the providers you have seen will white list you. White List is a way for providers on TER to say they saw you and you were OK. Some providers use this and some don't.

2. By pool41 I think you mean P411 (Preferred411). That is a site that providers and hobbyists can join. P411 screens you and verifies you are who you say you are so the providers can be sure you are not Law Enforcement (LE) and safe to see. You as a P411 member have access to the providers profiles on P411 and can search for ladies you may want to see. If they are P411 members you can be fairly certain they are legit providers. P411 is not a review site like TER. When you see a lady on P411 you are interested in come to TER and research her by reading her reviews and checking her profile. You Need the TER  VIP membership to read the reviews and see the profile in order to do proper research.

3. If the lady is reviewed here it's likely she isn't LE. mrfisher did give useful information about this. What's important is how many reviews the provider has and who are some of her reviewers. If she has reviews (some say minimum of 10) and several of her reviewers have written many reviews you have a better chance she is legit and will provide good service. You won't have to worry about her ripping you off or pulling some sort of scam.

Do some reading on this board. Use the search feature and put in key words on questions you may have. Also check the Self-Help Center link and read all the info there. Even the stuff aimed at the providers. It's good to know all you can from both sides. The Self-Help Center is on the upper right of this board under the red and white life preserver.

Relax. Do the reading and research. Have fun.

Brothers of the Night, thank you all for the truly helpful comments and sage advice.  I can't remember receiving such thorough responses to a question since asking my accountant about a list of proposed business entertainment deductions.  Your guidance has pointed me in the right direction and relieved me of the dreaded "heebygeebies" which have often kept me from enjoying the blessed acts themselves.   This site is more than a forum; it's a brotherhood, of which I am genuinely pleased to be a member.  Henceforth, I will feel a lot more confident when saying "yes, whatever you want" and "sure I can be there in an hour" or "of course, you can have my pin number"!

...all your secrets. Keep reading here looking for discussions about giving ladies your personal info. That's what sites like P411 are for so you can keep it safe by giving it out only once. After you have done some research you can decide what info you are comfortable giving out. I only give my name, my phone number, and the contact info of my references. I did give more info the first time. It was to a reliable, reputable agency I had reseached well. From there I was able to use the ladies that left the agency to become independent as references.

Don't give anyone your pin number ever. Possibly you were joking about that but just in case.

Also about being there in an hour  well if you have checked her out as I described earlier and are confident she is legit go for it. But if it's a quick search on BackPage and just pick one then I don't recommend that since you are a newbie. Stick with the well reviewed providers like I described earlier. Most like e-mail contact and time to screen you by P411 or other method.

Your TER regional ad board is a good place to search for providers as well as the aforementioned P411.

I was being humorous, but I have taken very seriously the advice from everyone particularly MrFisher.  I would never give out my personal financial info.  I am going to look into a VIP membership as several suggested.  I spent the last hour or more going thru reviews that were terrific.  Wow, this is a high value site.  Thanks to all.

no question is too dumb for this board.  That's what it's here for, to answer all questions regardless of how many times they have been asked.  Believe me, most of the questions that I and my highly unpaid assistants field here are not being asked for the first time.

If you want to know something, ask it here.  Hopefully someone will have a good answer for you.
