Sometimes people join a community because they wish to learn more about someone who is a member for reasons other than to see them.  Wives have been known to pay for access to read what their husbands write, and I would imagine it could go the other way as well.

Just tried out the VIP membership and I would actually like to cancel it. I know its probably right in from of me but I would appreciate it if someone could send me the link to the page where I can cancel my membership.

hobbyists so they can read the juicy details in reviews (MSOG, BBBJ, GFE, not a clock watcher, etc.) as well as use the PM system.

Why not just let your VIP membership expire.  It's not like you are going to get a refund.

If he / she uses the monthly subscription option, it never expires unless you manually cancel. You get billed every month.

Based on my future career choice Im going to have to take a looong break from hobbying for overseas schooling. I would have let it expire but tis on the automatic payment cycle, I have to put in the request for cancellation from my understanding. I do plan on enjoying the site until I leave the country. I know its a very newbie question and I appreciate the responses though, thank you.

Right to cancel recurring VIP membership...  get your renewal date & cancel before then.  If you decide to hobby again, you can re-up then.  One only needs VIP when you're looking.  Incidentally if you have "Favorites" listed you can not access the information when not VIP...  but when you renew, the research is still there.

Actually, that no longer works.  Go to http://www.membersitesupport.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=11 Go to Segpay credit card or online check, put in your credit card # and email in the dialog box (make sure its secure by the lock at the top of your browser), and click cancel.
