as far as advertising goes, you can place an ad up to one in a seven day period on your local board or the local board of any city/state where you will be available.

Do you have a website or an ad site?  You should make sure that you have a TER logo on them so that you can link to them each time you post.

Do you have reviews on TER?  If so, you should write to management and ask them to link your profile with the reviews to each post you make.

I'm not that familiar with the chat room, but I'm sure it is explained in the Self Help Manual, a link to which will appear at the top of the board.
