There is a life saver at the upper right of every discussion page immediately above the link to "The Self-Help Center". Maybe you meant something different on the Newbie board that would stand out. But that probably wouldn't help much as many people simply ask instead of look. It's a personality trait not a lack of info.
I find too that we are inundated with signs and symbols every day every where we go and many tend to tune them out to prevent sensory overload.
Maybe if on the newbie board the life saver flashed?! Now that would be a bit much wouldn't it?
So the mods don't have to keep telling Newbies to look for the self help center in every frikin' post. You guys are much more patient than I would ever be.
