Hello everyone,
I'm new to the arena and have a question.  Why do some hobbyists hesitate to see a provider that is unreviewed ?

Not to mention the fact, she might be working for LE.  No matter what she might say she offers, you never know what's going to happen when you get there.  Could be bait & switch, cash & dash, or any number of other not-so-pleasant possibilities.  It's always a good idea to know what you are getting before the fact, from the hobbyist's perspective.

post their ads on the appropriate boards according to TER rules...  and participate in discussions on other boards.  I think board participation can help understand a lady's legitimacy...  and encorage more daring clients to TOFTT.   Soon a review happens & everything is right in the world...

understood:)
but reviews do not appear to be full proof. I'd say that they are great to authenticate both (or more) parties, but will not guarantee you'll have a great experience

True reviews aren't fool proof as far as an assured great experience as YMMV is always in play. But they do serve to help establish that legitimacy.

but it is a big help in selecting providers who generally offer what a client is looking for.  Also devolupes a higher level of confidence going in.  But the coupling of 2 unique individuals will and always should be unique...  in fact many times, repeat visits have a flavor all their own, even while they may share some commonality.   The only way to know going in is to already have been through the door yourself...  and even then things change.

A well reviewed provider is the best we've got.

Incidentally, Providers should freak over an occasional off review...  I read them carefully but will not be put off by an occasional dose of bad chemistry.  Sometimes, reviewers are can be seen as hard scorers or admit to having booked someone who he "knew was not his type" what ever that may be... right in the review!
If I see reviews that are like a YoYo, up & down...  something is wrong.  Either she does not relate well to guys who are not her type (and face it, I'm no super stud anymore) or she's moody.  Either one is a turn off for me.  I don't need to see all 9s or 10s...  actually it's the description behind these arbitrary numbers that count...  but I ought to find her attractive (7) and I ought to have a hot time (7).  Frankly, I'll take a consistant run of 7s or 8s anyday...

I have always been curious about this what it not be entrapment, i mean would LE really goto all the trouble of posting ads on line with fake ladies, hire a fake lady and get you for it. I do agree with you tho that i wouldnt no longer see anyone without a review because of my paranoia and she could be a scammer , a bad experience or a complete waste of time, you just dont know without a review.

Yes, they do it all the time.  You can read about it in your local paper. Check the arrest reports.
Incall sting operations have been on at least 3 of the reality (cop) TV shows that I have seen.

Thats why reviews are so important.  If you haven't thanked someone who Takes One For The Team, now would be a good time to to so.

...don't troll for reviews and prefer discretion. Some of us are up to very naughty things that men don't confess (and don't forget the chest bump and high fives here). I'd been around years before I was reviewed, and was almost mortified when it finally happened. Something odd about reading a chronicle and rating...made me feel validated but exposed in too graphic detail. I'm already very open online, stories, pictures, videos...   BDSM and fetish are accustomed to limited reviews and most don't want their naughtiest details dished.    I ask my peeps to keep intimacies intimate, because I probably wouldn't have wanted the VIP highlights shared. Although, its probably brought me fun friends.

So...you have to look at the whole picture, reviews and...look at all her content online. Then, use your common sense.
