How many of you have had BETTER experiences after taking advange of the information and resources on this and other boards? As agency owner's we are always pleased when a well informed client calls.

and since she is the only provider within an 80-mile radius of my home, I probably would have anyway.  Still, the reviews gave me an indication of what to expect and confirmed my decision.

Now that I am starting to venture further out of my area, I never make an appointment without checking for a review first, either here or on another board.

You need to watch out for some of them local boards though. I do 95% of my pooning in Vancouver B.C. They have the PERB up there which is totally screwed up.

I agree 100%, many local boards are not all they are cracked up to be, in our area we are lucky and have a good one. But in many areas they are not accurate indicators of provider or agency reliability.

Before I knew about TER, I saw some terrible providers and even got scammed on one. Then I found out about TER and BigDoggie and I've had nothing but great success in finding the right providers for me. I do tons of research before seeing any provider and I even message others that have seen the providers and I ask them questions. TER is really great and its members are very friendly. I've talked to nothing but friendly, nice people through here. Its Great!

Since finding/using this site the percentage of "good" meetings has increased.  The most important parts, for me, are the descriptions, not the "numbers", especially about personality.  A general trend is more important than a single specific review.

Some local/regional sites are also a good resource for me.

TER has changed my life.  It was very chancy and a bit scary before, but now its really hard to go wrong
