It's a good thing

Can someone give me a primer on white listing and how it works?

Is it just an on/off thing?  You are either white listed or not.  Are there notes that go with it?

What's the advantage of a white listing?  Is it always a positive thing to be added?

I noticed that a provider had added me to the white list referrals.  I was a little surprised my review for her wasn't a bad review, but it wasn't glowing either.

Any help is appreciated!

The provider "White Lists" you. It means she has seen you and you are OK. Consider it a reference. Some providers will use it in their screening of you. You can't white list yourself but you can go to "Account Manager" and check if you want your white list to show or not.

It's just a thumbs-up that you're a clean, trustworthy monger.  Some providers use it to screen, some don't.  I'd say it's more important to have some good provider OKs on P411 and Date-Check.  But, like chicken soup, some whitelists couldn't hoit.

as a reference DateCheck, or an OK on P411.  It just means she has seen you and you are ok for others to see.  It helps them with screening and makes it easier for you to see other ladies.

It's just a thumbs up then.  No other info?

Not always, swim.  My most recent whitelist is from a provider I've never seen.  I have no idea why she did it.  The only thing I can think is she liked my posts.  I PM'd her to ask why she did it but she never responded.  I'm sure this is unusual, but I started a thread to ask how common it is and don't recall many helpful replies, so it remains a mystery.  But with P411 and Date-Check, if you ask for an OK from a provider you haven't seen you can be delisted from the site.  So they are more reliable, I guess.

DateCheck OK's from providers I have never seen, and like you, I have no idea why.  Didn't know about being banned from sites for asking for refs from providers you haven't seen.  Thanks for that info Nick.

In fact, when you click on their "Provider OK" button, the first thing you get is a warning that, if you have not seen this provider, you can have your membership suspended (or something like that).  I believe Date-Check does the same thing but am less certain.

boy scouts have merit badges..hobbyists have whitelists and okays..when i am whitelisted or given an okay from a provider on p411 it is always because we enjoyed each others company and got along perfectly..all it means is that they will vouch for you..the more whitelists and okays you have the better off you are..verification is almost instantaneous and you have your choice of who you want to see instead of jumping through hoops like newbies do..top providers on p411 will not even bother with you unless you have at least three okays..never request an okay unless you have personally seen the provider in question..they will ban you and then you have to start all over again..once you have enough whitelists and okays you enter the realm of the veteran hobbyist..it is stress-free and enjoyable..give yourself time..have patience..you will eventually get there..

The threshold for guys to be whitelisted is much lower.  When you get a reference on a guy or whitelist, you are not verifying if he a sixpack, big cock or looks like Brad Pitt, you are confirming that he is not LE, a psycho, or someone who will hurt you.  A review for a women is just about how she looks and how good she is in bed.  So what is a provider whitelists a guy because he gave her a 10 instead of a 6.  I dont think there is any provider out there who would whitelist a "bad guy".  Your concerns are unfounded.  That seems to me to be a much better method than P411 that just confirms that he has a job.  I bet most serial killers had jobs.
