but I will suggest a few places to advertise and one of them is right here on TER.  Read up on how to do so in the Newbie Manual which is linked at the top of this page.

The other place I will suggest is a site called Escortblogs.net where I have met some wonderful gals.  Check it out.

Both of these have the wonderful characteristic of being free.

One place to avoid is Craig's List.  I know some gals use it and have had some success with it, but I think that with all the attention being paid to it by LE, the risks outweight the advantages.

By the way, many gals seem to use EROS.  It's costly but still seems to be the most heavily used by clients.

I hope this helps.

I'm a relatively new hobbyist, and therefore been scanning the sites more then usual.  It somewhat depends on your location and territory.  The best thing I can advise is to make sure your link to TER is good.  There are so many scams, the only sure place to get accurate information is here.
Good luck.

You need to be very cautious using EROS. Their business practices have gone astray as of late. Please be careful with that site. I myself have a little experience with them(never fell for their(the ads)bait-and-switch methodology).

How do you advertise a profile if you don't have a site to list?

This is discussed in the Newbie Manual as well which you should read.  It is linked near the top of this page.

Just to also let you know, to have a profile on TER, you must have a review posted by a TER member.  The information on the profile is filled out by the reviewer, not the provider.

There are links on the profile to your website and email address.

a link to your web site (TER logo needed) or escort mall ad.  Be sure the link is accurate and doesn't just link to Cityvibe or Eros without going directly to your ad).

if you don't have a website, start there.

here's the free one that alot of us girls use

http://escortsite.com/

after you have your website up, make sure you put an ad on Sophie's outcall

http://outcall.net/

(sophie's is also free).

You can also advertise on Backpage.com for $2

and be sure to post over on your local boards so people can start getting familar with you here as well.

good luck and welcome to TER!

First let me say that I am not a FS provider, so some of my advice may not be used.  If you want to post on craigslist that's fine, just be very strict on your screening methods.  There are a lot of good guys on there and you can get good business from it.  Backpage is another place to advertise, your review can be linked to you TER profile.  If your comfortable with setting up a website that's good to, but I wouldn't post any face pics.  I don't have a website or any pics, but I do have a P411 acct and that will help with some screening. I would get a P411 acct and then maybe later get a website.  If you have more questions feel free to PM me.

...depending on your area.

I have used both of these and like them.
Lovings will create a link for you to use.
When you post here on your local board (once a week is allowed), potential clients can click on the link and it will essentially give them all the information posted on your main website ad, only it is through your private link.
It is definitely a bonus and is better than nothing.

Stay away from CL, unless you're selling furniture or looking for a pet.
LE targets CL and guys think it's okay to try to nickel and dime you, however IMHO if you go with a more reputable site, you are going to get more quality clients and you'll put up with less shit in the end.
Best,
SF

First off, I'm not sure what your funds are like- but if you have any money saved up PLEASE spend a little and get quality pictures taken (and make sure you can use them for these sorts of purposes).

Case in point- I got photos taken "time for prints".  They turned out beautifully.  Caveat- I can't use them for commercial gain per the release I signed.  I suspect that using them to advertise for this sort of thing counts and "commercial gain" and haven't gotten the guts to use them.  So instead, I have the photos that were taken which were DECENT- but not the best- as my promotion.  It's on my agenda to take more when I get time.

Second, do NOT advertise on CL.  I keep reading stories about people getting busted on there.

I don't know much else beyond this since I am with an agency... but have you considered going that route to get your feet wet?  It's what I did and I am SO MUCH happier I chose that route.  They do all the headache inducing stuff for me.

Actually, I don't see any guidelines in the Newbie manual on how to advertise on TER... want to help me out?

Relatedly, I see that hobbyists can only submit reviews if the provider "advertises online." Does advertising on TER or Escortblogs qualify, or does the provider need to have her own permanent, dedicated website or EROS profile?

As Mrfisher said, I'm neither an expert or provider, but I hear Eros is a good place since it's well known by clients. I think TER let's you advertise on their boards like once a week if your VIP so that's definitely something to consider as a provider.

good luck!

while free escort directories like outcall.net are all good and fine, you (OP) might want to invest money on sites that charge a premium for advertising because they can afford to promote their mall. Sites like eros and ter are great places to advertise on because they MAKE MONEY and probably use some of that money to hire pros to generate more traffic to their site.

I own a business and very rarely will I ever go with free advertising methods cause most are cheap and ineffective anyway because if you wanna make money with your business, you gotta spend money... I'm sure you heard it before.

so my advice to you, which you might not like, is to INVEST your money on places that MIGHT (there;s no guarantees in business) get you a return on your investment.

Good luck.

FINALLY, someone who vouches for agencies, even if only hers.

and I though I was the only one.

Rep agencies, despite what most TER members will tell you, are good for BOTH client and provider since all a client needs to do is get screened once to see most of their ladies.

downside: they don't write reviews... at least the ones I've seen.
