First time with a provider

I am planning to see a provider for the first time in my life.  I get checked for any kind of STD's or any diseases in my line of work.  I wanted to know if its appropriate to request a STD test from a provider before seeing her?

Good luck with that.  Never mention STD's to a provider.  Wear a condom for all activities including oral and you have , statistically speaking, nothing to worry about.
