I had my first experience with an incall yesterday. Previously, just one trip to an amp and a handfull of outcalls with 3 providers and one regular provider I have grown  entirely to fond of and trying to distance myself from a bit. I don't get the drive to this street and call me, then drive to this hotel and call from the lot and then you get the room number. I guess it is a security thing but what is she going to learn between my house and the parking lot? Being given the hotel and instructed to call from the lot makes perfect sense before getting the actual room number if only to be sure she has gotten rid of whoever was before me or isn't caught in the shower or something but what gives with all the other steps? Is there some reason that my rank inexperience just doesn't get?

By having you call from one place, and then another place, she can verify that you are at least in the vicinity, and not a waste of her time.

Typical it's two calls, not three.  You show up at a location near the actual incall, you call and describe the landmark, and then you get the exact address and go from there.

Or, if the landmark is really close by her incall, it could be that she can see you.  Often times, bodyrub girls in Manhattan will have you go to an address directly across the street from their apartment location, and then buzz you in after they have had a chance to see you from across the street.

It's all about safety.  You can't blame a girl for being safe.

I know that I'm always a little nervous having an outcall to my apartment, even though I am single.

Well thank you, sir. That makes perfect sense. I didn't have a problem with the procedure, just curious as to the reasoning for the intermittent steps. Learned something new so I guess now I should probably go back to bed!

just don't be a taker, give back to our little hobby community by writing a review.

I would love to but I will need to see if she wants one done. I am so new to the whole scene, I don't hardly feel qualified and am not exactly sure of the etiquette of such endeavors but I know I am anxious to repeat the experience! I will ask her when I see her next, hopefully next week.

It really does not matter if she wants one done. The reviews are for the clients benefit, mostly. I always write a review.

It does matter whether or not she wants a review.  Many providers do not want reviews for various reasons.  You are correct to ask her if she wants one.  You could have asked her while you were with her before leaving.  If she doesn't want a review, respect her wishes.

Overall I do agree with you about reviews. However, what's your opinion about a situation that did not go well? For example, if the lady engaged in heavy upsell, kicked you out or left well before the alloted time etc.? Seems to me that in those cases I might not care whether she wanted a review or not but would feel it necessary to warn others of her MO. What do you think?

And, quite frankly, I don't owe anyone shit.  To be totally blunt and downright rude...you should be thankful that I even give you the information that I choose to give you (which is 14 reviews since February of this year just under my alias, not even counting the ones under my real handle).

Here's my rationale:

1.  I paid for the session.  No one else did.  So why the hell do I owe anyone else any information?

2.  I pay for VIP.  That means I get all the rights of a VIP member, which means I can see the juicy details, PM others for information on the providers they have seen, etc.

I had a lousy appointment recently.  Major misrepresentation.  I had seen the girl before, and I didn't this to happen, but she played coy and conveniently forgot to tell me that she was on her period, even though I said very clearly...I am expecting to DATY.  Do I owe everyone else a heads-up on this girl?  Nope.  I don't feel the need to point out to others a really shitty experience.  I will deal with the owner of the bodyrub place directly, and see what she wants to do about it.

That said, if someone wants to PM me about any girl I have written a review about, that's fine.  But short of that...I don't owe anyone shit.
