To edit you must open your post and at the botton there will be an edir button, click on it and edit away.

As mrfisher said you cannot completely delete your post, only edit as in delete all text and change/edit the subject line to "deleted" or the like.
Keep in mind you have only four hours after putting up your post to edit, before we had 24 hours, not sure why that changed but dat da wat it is.

also even if you are unmoderated if you edit the post it will be checked by the post checkers and will take a bit of time (between 5 and 15 min on average) to show back up on the board, if they deem it OK.
