then I don't think you have to worry.

I've never heard of anyone saying that they were prosecuted for having reviews on TER.

I've been a basic member here for quite some time now but I want to join in order to be able to interact with other providers and get advice on how I can screen my clients better and remain as safe as possible. I understand you need to have 3 reviews before you can join. But I am timid about joining a review site. If I join this site, can my reviews be used against me at all? Also, how will clients here see me when I have no reviews to begin with? Please help. Thanks a bunch!

The reviewers board is for reviewers only.  Look for  info on joining the providers' board.

You don't have to join this site to be reviewed.  Your reviews are done by us guys, doesn't matter whether or not you are a member.

And yes, your reviews can be used against you if you provide substandard service.

If you have a good date, ask the client if he is a TER member, and if he is, ask if he will review you.

They can see you here, you are allowed to post one ad per week on your regional board.  You need to read the newbies manual and FAQ for providers to get the requirements for posting an ad.
