If screening,

When scheduling an appointment with someone, how long does it usually take for them to reply back if they have to screen you? A day or two, a couple of days?

Also, is there any way to see what your references wrote about you on Date-check?

Some ladies are good on responding promptly and some are not.
So,I cannot say how long does it usually take for screening because every lady is different.
If I am waiting on a response from a reference and it has been more than a day I touch bases with the gent and let him know I am still waiting and to thank him for his patience. Also, perhaps he might have a reference that I can reach faster than the ones he provided earlier.
It might take less than an hour or might take a day or two if waiting on references to respond for screening.
No,there is no way to see what your references wrote on date-check.

Usually I find that it takes about 48 to 72 hours if they need to contact someone else, whether it be a reference or your employment.  If they use Verification sites like P411 or DateCheck, then it is much faster, sometimes could even be same day and I hear back that I've cleared screening.

it all depends on how thoroughly she screens and how quickly your references return her inquiries.  I would guess a couple days should be enough time, but you just never know.  If, after 3 days, you have not heard anything from her, I'd politely contact her and ask if there are any problems with your screening information.

On your second question, as far as I know, the answer is no.  You could ask DC, but I doubt that you would get much from them.

My assistant usually can screen within the day unless references are not getting back to us promptly. Sometimes having more than two references really helps so more than two ladies can be contacted. I totally agree that P411 and date check are great resources that expedite the screening process but sometimes we still like to check those references.

provider on a Friday, the weekend could slow down the process since some providers do not work on weekends. Same would apply if the screening request was sent just before a major holiday or severe weather issues.

One of the reasons I try to schedule at least a week ahead. Last minute guys (unless you have already seen the lady) are challenged if the provider they want to see screens well.

my dates about a week in advance.  Most of my dates are repeats, but especially with a 'new to me' provider, I want to give her an ample amount of time to screen me.

KK, you made some very good points about watching the calendar, particularly the one about weekends.  It's true I believe, many providers do not work on weekends, especially if they have a family.  Major holidays are always a consideration we must be aware of.
