So I've just had my 3rd experience. Only one... the very first provider would kiss me on the lips. Kissing really gets me "in the mood".
Should I expect no kissing as a norm ?

I'm no expert- just three hobby visits so far.  One didn't kiss at all, one had reviews that said she didn't dfk and didn't care for kissing, but I found her very amenable to soft kissing and light tongue.  The last provider was an awesome dfk kisser.  Like you, it helps me a lot, but it seems to definitely be a provider preference and very definitely a "ymmv" issue where your experience with a given provider may vary from others experience with her - both in the good and negative way.

I've read from other provider posts that not smothering the lady, having great oral hygiene and good breath increase your chances a good bit, and that beards/mustaches sometimes have a detrimental effect.

Some providers do not kiss at all and some won't French kiss.  If it's important to you then it's worth checking in advance if the provider is happy with it (ie what do her reviews say).

For some ladies it's too intimate and something they reserve for their SOs.

I too really enjoy lots of kissing with a lady.  Is it safe to assume that a provider with a lot of 9s and 10s in her reviews will engage in DFK?  (I dont have a VIP membership so I cant see  the details, just the #s)

I see one provider who will do practically anything with me, yet kissing on the lips, even a peck, is a major no-no; it's just the way she is.

On the other hand, I see other providers who kiss very freely, even one who would have gotten my tonsils out by now if the doctor hadn't already gotten them.

I'm not a fan of French kissing. To me, it's an intimate act reserved for a select few.

There are 2 very concrete steps that you can take to increase your chances of being with a kisser.  They are...

1. Search reviews for ladies that like to kiss, lfk, or dfk.

2. Make sure that your oral hygiene is up to snuff.

It is likely, but you can't be certain.

I am certain, however, that you should spend the $20 on a VIP membership.  You will not regret it.

I always brush about an hour before the date, take a shower so I smell fresh, shave again so the lady will not get any whisker rubs, then pop a breath mint about 10 minutes before she should be knocking on the door.  I put on a fresh shirt and slacks and read the paper or watch TV until the soft knock on the door.  If she is running a little late, I will pop another mint.

I think it adds to the experience if she will kiss during the session and as you leave its nice. If she wants to have a shot at a repeat with you its in her best interest to kiss you.
