After contacting a provider, she asked me to send her a pic of me for security reasons and so she would know what I looked like.  I didn't send the pic.  Anyone else ever have a provider ask for a pic before meeting?

I recently read about how a user would send a pic of himself to a provider before meeting.
He said that it puts the lady at ease and lets her know what to expect.

If a provider is willing to put her pics up for everyone to see, especially if her pics are unblurred, I don't see any harm in sending a pic of yourself to only her. The only problem would be if you run into LE and they now have a pic of you. This won't be a problem if you do your research, though.

when i joined P411..i posted my pic on my profile..so i never have that problem..it is there if they want to see it..some guys do not want there pic on their profile for various reasons..i have no reason not to..

like a high profile position in your work career, I don't see what it would hurt.  Like the previous poster, I also have a pic on my P411 profile, so any provider that is a member can see what I look like.  It's not completely revealing because I'm wearing sunglasses, but it shows enough of my face to anyone that looks has a good idea what I look like.

However, I have never had anyone ask for a picture even before I joined P411.  I guess maybe by now I have enough references that  picture isn't needed.

I've never had it come up.  If it did and I haven't an SO and I really wanted to see her, I would send a pic w/me and a couple buddies then call her and tell which one I was.
