Godiva chocolates. Not always but sometimes and most of the ladies really like them. Another thing.....I know this is your first time with a provider. If you are normal you will be a little nervous, jittery and have butterflies in your stomach.....that is completely normal. I have seen a few girls now and I get that way every time I meet a new girl.....it's what makes this hobby so exciting. I always tell myself when I don't feel like that the first time with a new girl then I'm going to quit. Being this is your very first time you should count on feeling like that but don't worry. Most all of the good providers will pick up on that and are good at putting you at ease. I hope you first experience is a great one my friend and welcome to the hobby.....you will be addicted like the rest of us soon!

I am expecting to go on my first rendezvous with a provider soon. Do you all have any ideas concerning suitable gifts? I just want to sure my appreciation for the time spend in addition to any agreed upon donation.

To everyone, What are some of the memorable experiences from a first date with a provider or hobbyist?

Also, can anyone tell me if there is a preferred tipping amount or does tips reflex a percentage of total price or just plain give what I feel like in the moment?

Use the search feature on this board. These topics come up often. Search 'tipping,' 'tips,' 'gifts,' etc. Set the date range to a higher range, and you can see back farther than the 30 day default range. (Although I can almost guarantee you the topic has come up a few times in the past 30 days) Check out some of the past threads on the subject and you will see various opinions.

The general answer is that tips (and gifts) are never expected but always appreciated. Many also say the best tip is a repeat visit. There is no set amount if you do decide to tip. As for gifts, a bottle of wine, lingerie, and gift cards, are probably the most common. Check the lady's website. Many have a gift list, where you can see what they like.

Good luck and have fun with your first date!!

But perfectstorm was spot on.  I don't usually tip on the first date.  If I have a good enough time to want to go back, then I will tip or bring a little gift.  My personal preference is a gift instead of just extra cash.  I think it's more personal.  A gas card is always a good idea since these ladies do a bit of driving.

As long as your a gentleman, clean, on time and have the envelope, the provider will be very pleased.

Have a good time!!!

a little blender, milk, protein powder, and fruit as well as a phone charger he knew I forgot at home. Til this day, I travel with my little blender to mix my shakes, so it was sweet as well as practical. I am also a wine collector, so that's another great gift but not when I am flying as I don't check bags. I "collect" wine, so I don't want to have to drink it lol.

I can tell you gift cards are about the BEST gift ever! The provider can buy what she needs, when she needs it and you don't have to worry about the guess work that goes into buying things.

Best of luck.

Good for you! I wish you a ton of fun on your first rendezvous!

I once had a gentleman correspond with me extensively by email prior to seeing me, and we shared all kinds of things about ourselves with each other. (Actually, come to think of it, this happens with most men I see.) But this man was taking notes, and showed up with three amazing gifts that were so unique to me that I was thoroughly touched. They showed me he was paying attention, and he completely won my heart.

I don't know if that is the kind of correspondence relationship you have with your first provider or not, so if she doesn't have a wish list, a gift card to a major department store will be a wonderful gift for just about anyone! :) I don't recommend chocolates as many, many women specify no chocolates on their websites (consumables are iffy due to allergies and personal taste). Stay away from perfumes as well, unless she has hers listed on her website. A book that really means something to you can be a very sweet gift. Maybe even see if she has posts here and if she mentions anything that might be used to pick out a nice and very personal gift.

Have a wonderful time Lud202!!
