Along with the myth that LE has to tell you the truth if you ask them if they are LE, this so called test posits that if either the provider or the client touch the other in the groin or breasts, then that proves they are not LE.

Don't believe it or rely on this test to stay safe.  Screen and research carefully the people you get near and avoid being in any room with LE that way.

I've read references to a hobbyist having to undergo an "LE test" before the festivities begin.  What does that entail?

I can't give an exact answer but this is what I assume.
LE will not touch the provider or undress. If a client is touching me sexually I already know they are not LE. LE will most likely also mention the "donation" within the first few minutes of the meeting before anything else is discussed.

Long story short....DON'T mention the "donation"(discreetly place the envelope somewhere silently), and don't be afraid if she asks you to touch her or for you to undress first. And asking "you're not a cop are you?" does not work....they can lie

I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last week and sent him the key.  There's one across the lot from here tonight, so I still feel kinda smart.

Read 'em and weep. The second holds out the potential for some hope, but not in our lifetimes. Here in MD, some cops took real heat for going to the local AMP and getting Happy Endings to make their case.

Not to parse things too finely, but sometimes the question is whether the bust (even without a conviction) is as bad as the conviction itself. For some folks, the bust is enough.

The LE test is a myth. LE can touch you sexually and get undressed. Often they won't, but they can do stuff like that while undercover to prove they are not LE.

The LE check protects ME the client from female decoys. It does not protect the provider (although they think they are protected).

I would think the number of female decoys that will allow me to squeeze their breast or rub their kitty, can be counted somewhere between 0 and none.

As we have learned, the LE check does NOT protect the provider from a male cop, as they routinely cross the line of acceptable behavior.

They can cross the line of acceptable behavior in a undercover sting. And there has been cases of LE of both sexes playing the role and subjecting themselves to the LE check. The LE check is a myth. It protects no one. If you are in the room with LE in this hobby your ass is busted most of the time LE check or no LE check. In fact the LE check has been used as evidence to prove intent in court. That is one of the many reasons everyone should screen everyone else in this hobby.

Though I have never pointed out that fact to any woman who did it.

I figure they might be insulted about me trying to tell them how to run their business or something.

Wrong... there was just a case last wk(I'll post the link to the story when I find it) where the female officer allowed the man to fondle her breasts, and then toughed his johnson when he asked her to...

Also, in some places, LE will go even further than just undressing with the provider... especially in Indianapolis, there is one that does a whole heck of a lot before making the arrest.. also in Chicago and Milwaukee they don't too much "go by the books"...

"LE checks" are worthless and a waste of time... in both instances. For providers, good screening is the best you can do, and for hobbyists, making sure she has a review history always helps in making sure you're not walking into a trap.

Back in the day (late '80s, early '90s) in the mid-priced houses I frequented in Manhattan in the east 30s and 40s the LE check was simple and effective (at least then).  The ladies took you to a room and told you to undress.  Only when they returned to find you completely naked was there any discussion of money.  At that time (and someone please tell me if this has changed), no LE would completely undress, so it worked nicely.  Of course, this was pre-Giuliani and once he came into power the houses were shut down.  I'm not sure how the busts were made because, by the time it happened I'd gone inactive.  There are lots of reasons I couldn't stand Rudy (like that he was/is a total fascist who wouldn't know the First Amendment if it bit him on the ass), but this was a biggie.  Not sure, but I don't think Bloomberg is any better.
