First time caller, long time listener. I have been in the hobby for over 6 years now and have used TER to my advantage on numerous occasions. I just recently created a profile and submitted my first two reviews in hopes of previewing the VIP membership once they are accepted for a trial run. This website is great and I feel I owe it to the other members in my area to start contributing. My question is on how to go about asking a provider to be on your White List. Is this only available to VIP members? How do you gents go about this? I have seen many quality providers and would like my profile to reflect that as soon as possible so that I don't seem so much of a....well....newbie! A lot of these girls have already been references for me via email or over the phone. How important is the White List to you? Thanks for your insight.
You merely ask the girl to white list you. Then, assuming she knows how to do it, will just go in her account and whitelist you. Its supposed to be very simple.
Couple of things about White Listing that are good to know..
A.. If the girl retires or is delisted, the white listing goes away. So keep that in mind. If you have used Date-Check, you can get nods (similar to WL in TER) that stay there even if the lady goes away.
B.. In account manager, there is option to control if you want your white listing to be visible to everyone or not. I typically keep it hidden unless I am seeking appointment. Then I make it viewable...
this topic has been discussed numerous times. If you do a search you'll find the threads on this board and the GD board. Remember, every provider screens differently, I've had providers say to me "since you have wl references you're good to go" and other providers tell me they don't accept WL references in screening. Bottomline, WL can't hurt, however, if you want your profile to reflect who've you seen, write reviews.
However, whitelist referrals do not necessarily disappear if a provider retires. I have several referrals from providers that have retired. Now, a provider could probably not contact them for a reference, but I do have a sufficient number of referrals from active providers.
In order for a provider to whitelist you, she must be a member of TER, and like curly said, you just ask her if she would give you a whitelist referral. If would be appropriate for you to give her a review as well. You do not have to be a VIP member for her to whitelist you. If you have seen a provider recently, you could contact her by her preferred method and ask her, but if it has been a long time since she saw you, she might want you to see her again in order to give you the referral.
If you have seen a lot of providers, it would be proper for you to write reviews of them in order to get them to give you the referrals. You have 90 days following a visit to a provider to submit the review. If the providers you have seen do not have a profile on here, it just means no member has reviewed her. If you are the first reviewer, you will create her profile.
White Lists disappear when a lady is de-listed and retired. If she keeps her reviews up/active & retires the whitelist will remain. Most smart ladies de-list when they retire & WLs disappear.
Thanks so much for all the feedback. From the general responses it sounds like I simply need to write more reviews in order to have my profile reflect the right credentials. As for the White List I will definitely explore that with registered providers on this website. I wrote two reviews last night and just waiting for them to be accepted or not. Thanks again for the responses.
I looked at the profiles of the ones I know are retired the WL'ed me. Their profiles are still there, but websites are missing. I guess they did not ask to have their profiles removed.
