I currently advertise on TER and preferred411. I want to expand my horizons a bit but need to hear some feedback for some high traffic advertising sites. I try to stay off BP unless things are really slow and I screen the hell out of those guys! Someone please help a new girl out! Thanks! Xo

ordan, regarding your P411 profile/ad, you've got two big advantages on your side:  
1) you're quite attractive.  
2) you're young at 25.  

 Potential problems: for a provider, you're rather selective--clients must be white & under 55.  You also prefer a 90 minute first appt, which would be $550.  So you've clipped a lot of older guys with your first requirement.  And you've probably ruled out a lot of younger guys with that $550 second requirement.  

 Given that you're so selective, you might consider the sugar bowl.   Since you live in a college town,
I'm sure there's a thriving sugar market there.   I'd also recommend that you add more photos & rotate them on a regular basis.  You're using the same three photos in both your profile and your ad.  Give those guys more to look at.   Good luck.  --

While I fall in the under 55 group, many do not, that's a serious limitation

While I can afford the 90 minute, many would rather do the shorter visit, especially if not into GFE.

As a relative newbie setting your price at 400 / 550 seems a little high too but, that may just be me.

If I lived in Ohio, I'd call, you are very attractive.

One of them is Backpage, for sure.  Although, I have to dismiss 9 out of 10 inquiries, because a lot of the guys are not as sophisticated as TER and P411 guys, I try to explain to them about screening and how to use TER if they aren't a good match.  That way, maybe they will go on to learn how to be a good client.

I've monitored my traffic to my websites for years and the results are pretty consistent, with BP being the leader by twice as many as the next highest traffic bringer.  I have many good, regular clients that I've found on BP.  I always check references, though.  Always.  

And you want to be especially careful when you go on an out call to a hotel in San Diego.  In other cities LE will come to your hotel, but I don't think they do that in SD.

I have to agree with the other guys about the age thing.  I mean, you aren't going to be physically attracted to all of the guys you meet with.  You're providing a professional service.  Senior citizens need love, too!  And they have the money and the time to be generous clients.  

You're new.  I suspect you'll find that your comfort level will get broader and broader over time as you realize that people are people, and good clients don't have anything to do with age, race, or physical fitness level.

 Fair enough, but when a provider states a *preference*, that carries a lot of weight.  Many first-time clients won't bother contacting you if they can't do the 90 minute rate.  On first contact, most guys would rather not start by haggling down a time/rate.  Here's what he's thinking: For the price of one 90 min session with the new girl, I can have two sessions with my ATF.  Miss ATF is a known quantity--she's pretty & sweet to him.  

 Here's my take on it:  even though a first appt has more risk, you don't want to price yourself out of the market. Why?  Because you want to replace Miss ATF.  You want that guy to be seeing you on  a regular basis, not someone else.  When you become Miss ATF, then he'll spend all kinds of money on you. If her reviews didn't show under her name, then she wouldn't have provider pm access. Limited VIP. Then she'd have to pay for membership to read her pms. A few gals don't link to their reviews (not sure the logic on that one).

....is one that you must be comfortable with.  While I do offer one hour dates, I rarely have gentlemen book them, and I would suggest allowing them in your home city.

    Your age requirement is restrictive, but so is mine; I prefer gentlemen over 45.  I also do not BEGIN dates later than 7:00 pm, which is also restrictive, but I prefer my evenings to be booked with cocktail and dinner dates; hence the cut off time.  

    Photos.  Hobbyists will ask you to update your photos every couple of months, while others who are looking at your ad for the first time, do not know how old they are.  My photos are about a year old, and business has not slowed.  I will shoot again this summer, as I am waiting for a specific photographer to come back stateside.

The providers that I have spoken with say that they prefer their client's over the age of 55. For one they have the money, two they do not have the stamina, three the chances of having any kind of trouble are far less, and four - they appreciate you much more favorably. Also, the higher end girls like yourself will use a more discrete photo on bp and require the clients to have either a TER ID or p411 and as you have said, they only use bp in leaner times. I would also offer an introductory rate for a minimum of one hour rather than the 90 minute. Also, you can post adds on TER daily or at your convenience.  
By doing the changes that have been mentioned by others you should increase your client base by 50%.

I have always said rates are somewhat geographic in nature.  The higher end rates can be found in the larger metro areas like NYC, LA, Miami, and LV.  IMHO, your rate for a newbie is a bit on the upper end for the smaller mid-west area you are based.

Looks like I jumped into the thread late and you have already made some changes to your ads based upon some of the advice here... well done. A few additional thoughts:

1. Your ads do not include a picture. You are gorgeous and men are visual creatures. A pic is a strong selling point for you. You can post a pic and a link (both) in your ads.

2. Look at the ads for the top 20 or so providers in your (and other) areas. There are some differences in wording and presentation. Learn from other gals who are demonstrably successful. Check their websites, etc... (Don't plagiarize; just get a sense of what the top level gals ads and website look like and say about them).

3. No personal website? A nice website that tells us who you are is a powerful (IMO, necessary) thing. I'd make this a top priority for yourself; there are plenty of free websites! This is where you can explain your "preferences" in detail, as well as any "exceptions" you might consider.

4. Search for the top 100 providers in Columbus, and look at their client restrictions, menus and rates. You are a Newbie, a somewhat unknown quantity, and you are in the top tier of rates. Providers at even somewhat lower rates might just be eating your lunch. A discount for P411 and/or TER members is common.

5. You have two great providers in Freya and Kelley offering to help. Take them up on their offers, and listen to them.

I have to say to the guys in this thread: let her have her damn preferences! My age maximum was 55 until last month when I had a birthday, thus bumping me into the 26-30 age bracket (at which point I raised it to 60). Has it costed me money? Fuck yes. But that extra dinero would not be worth compromising my personal comfort level. Having preferences will limit your potential income, but you have to weigh that against what keeps you feeling content in your work.  

In any event, yes your rates are in the upper tier for our region (I'm 2 hours south of you). You have some intense competition up there in Cbus (Nikki Haven, Kate Hawn, my boo Marilyn Maxwell, and Eva Loren just to name a few), but there's no reason that you can't be in that upper echelon. It just takes time.  

And don't be so quick to discount BP (you should be screening the hell out of everyone regardless of the advertising venue). I know a lot of top tier ladies who do quite well there.
