Hi, I'm glad to have found a provider whose services I enjoy.  I've had two visits with her so far.  What has been your experience with providers offering discounts for regular clients?  After how many visits did you get a discounted rate and by what percent was it?  Would it be an appropriate question to ask my provider after three sessions

Some girls will work out a deal for you, especially if you are a regular. Some of this really depends on you though.

I wouldn't ask for a Discount after just two visits. I'd go on paying her Full Rate for at least a couple of months. And see her on a steady basis. If you can see her about once a week for a few months, that would tell her you like seeing her and she'll get to know you. I asked my current Provider for a Discount after seeing her once a week for three months once a week. Now after a year and a half, I pay her Discounted Rate and still get the same Awesome Session as if I paid her Full Rate.

It obviously depends on the provider, but two or three visits does not qualify as a 'regular' to many of them.  Not all providers will discount anyone, even their favorites, other than maybe some informal extension of time.  Only you know what your rapport is with her, but if it feels like its awkward to ask, its probably not time yet.

...What's a regular by her definition? How much time are you spending? A regular customer discount for an hour a week probably won't be a welcome idea to her. Regular for multi-hour sessions might get a favorable response. Don't forget what Jack said, be prepared for her to turn you down and not agree to see you again at all. Many things are possible but after just two or three visits isn't the time to inquire. Spend more visits with her and with others. Get some experience before pursuing you idea.

...Additionally I have to think you have read the threads about negotiating. I know I have. While you may not consider asking for a regular's discount as negotiating it is. Many providers here have spoken on the subject and not favorably. All of that is another discussion though. I still think two or three visits isn't enough to establish a monger will be/is a regular but it's not my opinion that matters.

The one or two times I've done this, I didn't prepay, but there was an agreement about frequency and duration, so not just a discounted rate, but a discounted rate with an agreement as to how much work she would be receiving in consideration of the discount.

Again, I don't recommend newbs do it, but for experienced mongers who know how the game is played and know how to make the right approach, virtually everything is workable, within reason.

I have been seeing guys for years and there is no discount. Try it and you might be okay but I don;t like your chances. Three visits? Not on your life!

Anything under 2 hours is full price, unless you're seeing me multiple times per week. I've had people see me 2-3 times in one week, but just for one or two weeks, not over a long period of time.  

I have some regulars that I  have been seeing for some time . The gentlemen I see weekly or by weekly I  do offer a speical rate.

grandfathered rates to guys they have seen for a few years.  If and when they raise their rates, they keep the established client at the same rate.

But I'm not disagreeing with you. I usually agree with most of your posts and this one is no different. As you said, 2 visits will not make most people a regular. However you also posted your disclaimer in your first sentence. "What's a regular by her definition?" That is the key. What does the lady consider a regular. For some it's someone seeing them on a regular scheduled basis (ie once a week) for some it's someone who sees them every time she visits his city. For some (must be the case with the 3 who considered me a regular after 2 visits), anyone who repeats might be considered a regular.

The lady I have seen the most over the last 8 months (17 visits vs 3 with others) has never given me a discount and I would never ask her for one. What is entertainment/recreation/education for me is her livelihood. She has rent and other bills to pay.

It's your call if you want to pay more but there is two ways to play, if you want.

If one of my long term guys was to ask me, I would simply let him know that they can have the reduce rate with zero extra time, nothing OTC ever again, out at exactly 60 minutes. I would also cancel if another guy wanted to see me at my regular rate (hey he wants more for less, I want less for more).  

remember the price you pay is what she is willing to see you for. That's their motivating factor. So, if she could only get, let's say, $150- 200 per hour, she wouldn't do it.  That's why she charges $400. If it was a normal practice you'd see "rates negotiable" on their site.

17 times in 8 months? hasn't been 17 in 3 yrs for me.

This was about 8 years ago and I had seen her quite a few times.  She said it was because of the economy. There was no way I could give her less than I had been giving her.  So I actually was giving her more than her advertised rate, but she did make it up to me in other ways.

as others have noted, 3 visits doesn't make you a regular, and asking for a discount is tacky. Most ladies post on their sites that their rates aren't up for negotiation.  

NO. I doubt 3 visits will get you the "friends and family" plan. I've seen providers about 10 times before I bring up the topic and the discount will depend on the lady. Act like a gentleman and she will enjoy being with you more. Providers see a lot of assholes so don't be one of "those guys. Have her beverage of choice on hand, be freshly showered and groomed for each session, leave her alone out side of the session, don't ask her for freebies, her real name, or bbfs. Tell her that you want to be a regular, but can only afford to see her X amount of times and maybe she will take pity on you. The percent will vary and depend on what kind of client you were. I've had 25% knocked off with one lady, but that's rare. 10 to 15% is probably a safer number.
