Yes, definitely read the Ad Posting Guidelines....

When Writing your ad:
Be sure to Write your ad in a Word document or something similar....   if you "time out" while creating the ad on TER, you will become VERY frustrated...  and then you just copy and paste it into the TER post when You're ready to do your ad.  Be SURE to spell check it....and make it easy to read.   Men are visual and don't generally like LOTS of words to go through.  Bulletpoints are great to use.....    They want to know above all:  1) Rates  2) general location  3) general availability 4) and how do you prefer they contact you.  

anything more than that.....well, do what you want, but keep in mind, simpler is usually better.
Be creative if you can with your ad.    
Then, create an account on Photobucket.  Upload the pics you want to use.  TER format is like 600x800 or something....I think it's in the Guidelines about pic size.  Be sure the pics look nice.

 When the pic you want to post is on your photbucket, click on where it says "Direct Link" by the pic, it will automatically copy it for you.  Then paste THAT in the Pic URL box on the ad.....

this business to proctect yourself against bad experiences. Find a provider in your area who is willing to act as a mentor for you. You need to learn about screening, incall and outcall protocol, etc. Unfortunately, there are some bad apples out there that will take you for a ride if you let them.

Get to know some of the providers that post on your local (Regional) discussion board.  Find one that seems approachable to inquire about mentoring as mentioned by Keystonekid. I bet a good number of the more experienced providers would be willing to talk to you.

You're doing the right thing asking questions. It's not something you want to jump into unprepared.
