Hello,

Is one allowed to post an ad in the appropriate section of this website if one stipulates on their own website that they prefer not to have reviews?

you follow the ad posting rules, you can post an ad.  Many providers do not want reviews, and you are perfectly within your rights to request no reviews.  That has no bearing on your posted ad on this site.  Reviews are not a requirement for anything here.  However, no reviews will limit your exposure to potential clients.  Many hobbyists will not see providers with no reviews.  Reviews are what allow guys to verify that you are a legitimate provider, and safe to visit.  The only other means of verification would be by the word of a hobbyist that has seen you, and that might be hard to do.  But, that's your choice to make.

Actually, it's a lot hypocritical.  It may be allowed, but in my opinion it shouldn't be.  You can't have it both ways, advertise on a review site but then not want any reviews.

If you don't want any reviews, that's fine, but then pay for your advertising and stick to sites such as Eros with all the rip-offs and agency bait and switch scams.

there are, I'm sure, many providers who are members here that for various reasons do not want reviews.
IMHO, they are only hurting themselves by limiting their exposure to potential clients.  If they don't want explicitly written narratives, they can request that the reviewer not use real graphic descriptions of the session.  In my reviews, that's how I write, or I should say wrote, my reviews, but the reader knows what happened.

I am not at all opposed to that. In fact I prefer paying for banner ads rather than banner exchange. It's just my personal preference not to have them. I can't stop them from happening, but I feel I have a right to make the request. Honestly, I enjoy reading the website, and don't mind back-channel reviews.

Cheers!

I have been informed that providers who have a 'no review' policy are not allowed to post the once every 7 days ads on the regional board.

Sorry ladies, but I don't make the rules.

I see your point there are also a lot of ladies on Eros who do not do the bait and switch nor would they ever be dishonest. Some ladies are just concerned for various reasons family, work, school and personal life. I on the other hand choose outside of family, school be honest to people I know about what I do but it does not always go over well. I guess in life we all have to take chances at times, but I do understand after you have done it so many times it becomes difficult. It is crazy because it seems as if there is not one aspect in our lives that greed hasn't affected financial sector, housing, government and the natural instincts between two consenting adults. That is why you are now judged on your reviews.

We both are affected men could miss out on a wonderful woman, and we could miss out on a wonderful man stinks maybe we can get back to the good old days.

Hmm, you've written here that it is because of the economy that women are "judged" by their reviews? Maybe people are more cautious about spending money in general, but I would think that no matter what the economy is like, men are going to want to know what they are getting. It's not like most can or will do this six days a week. It's not like a drive-through, in other words.

I also read reviews on eBay, on hotels.com, on Amazon, etc. The Internet (yes, that word is capped, folks) has made it possible for all of us in so many realms of our lives as consumers, to know more before we commit to spending money. What's not to love about that?

Honestly, I'm happy with what I do. I have a good time. If men are being honest with me, they are having a very good time with me. And I have always believed that this is about the most honest of transactions there can be. Reviews make it possible for consumers ; )   to know ahead of time what they are going to get, or a close approximation.

What I would love to know from someone with a good bit of experience is how to go about asking for a review. It sounds opportunistic to me, and I would never want any man to feel that way about time spent with me. I really love making it personal (personal-feeling, that is--there are limitations, of course), and I want that man to feel that, start to finish to after, just in memory. Is there a wrong way to ask this? I just do not know.

Carry on . . .

If you don't want to directly ask for reviews at least you can increase your chances of seeing guys that review a lot. Be active on this and other boards like this, offer a discount for review site members (this one is a bit controversial with some, but it's how life works). You can post on your website that reviews are much appreciated. You can link your reviews in your email signature so guys new to reviews will come here and discover the magic of rating tricks.

:)

Good Luck!

I understand the TER ad posting guidelines for providers, but, to say it is HYPOCRITICAL for a lady to want to post an ad and shun reviews is interesting since there are 100's if not 1,000's of lurking hobbyists that would like to read reviews and use them to their advantage yet DON'T want to write reviews due to all the hassles of getting one approved. Or they figure they have written enough reviews. Or no longer care about the free VIP given to them for reviews (because really what is $30.00 per month compared to spending $400+ on a lady many times a month.....). Or, egads, some don't care about the reviews anymore at all because they've seen too many inflated and inaccurate portrayals.
